Data retention time management (DRTM) as part of Data protection and privacy enables us to configure different retention times for different types of data, for different countries and for active and inactive users. Data retention time is the period of time that a particular type of data must be retained before it can be purged. DRTM extension object in MDF that we can use to store the retention times used by a corresponding type of purge request*Q4 2017 release, this DRTM is available in preview for test , will not be available for production

Allow delete of Purge Requests in Maintenance monitor: Delete functionality is now supported on Maintenance monitor (under approved requests tab, expired, failed, completed status purge requests can be deleted , not for declined requests)

Session Time-Out EnhancementIn case of multiple table/windows open concurrently , the system will check that the session is truly expired before showing the session timeout dialog (earlier users used to see time out window due to inactivity in one window, even if they are still active in another window in same browser). Now, we can keep session active in multiple windows or tabs

Cookie acknowledgement banner/info for GDPR : In SF application, on first time login users will be shown a cookie acknowledgement message (as well as whenever a cookie policy changes) so that they acknowledge Cookie management policy. SFSF app cookie acknowledgement is GDPR requirement

Support for MDF workflow Pending History Record in OData: Allows querying pending history records on OData (when workflow is rejected or canceled, the pending record will become pending history, this is invisible in ODATA before, now it can be queried by MDF OData admin)

Self service SAML SSO tool: allows customers to manage trust between their corporate IDP and SuccessFactors systems. Customers can also navigate to SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS)admin console to manage trust with other SAP systems or third party applications. This tool should help reduce tickets that CS receives around configurations. So, SSO can be configured directly on instances which uses IAS.

Validation that child object that it cannot be used in more than one parentUsers will not be able to associate more than one parent object to a child object (the existing data with more than one parents will be excluded from this validation and further extension is not allowed). In consistency perspective, this validation was introduced in this release.
