Smart IVF Daya Medika, Indonesia, currently has 2 Miri® Benchtop Multi-room Incubator. The first unit was installed in September 2014 while the second unit was installed in October on the same year. Again, Miri has proven its worth with the first baby boy born on 13th of July while the second and third (Twin) born on 15th of July of this year.

"Being a clinician, what I believe is that 80% of success or failure of an IVF treatment cycles is from the lab! Optimum in-vitro culture condition is indispensable to achieve highest live birth rates in an IVF Lab. We recently purchased 2 Miri® Benchtop Multi-room Incubators and we are very happy using them. Having monitored the cleavage and blastulation rates of the 6 lids, they appear to be consistent. We also recently commenced to offer liberal PGS (trophoectoderm biopsy) for advanced maternal age cases and very happy with the first results; in this context provision of good in vitro culture conditions with these incubators have greatly contributed. The last point is that MedikalTim, the Turkish distributor, has designed a cheap but very useful stand with a drawer system to put 3 Miri® incubators on top of each other to save from the space; very good job!"

Semi Closed Environment (SCE) takes the controlled environment from your incubators to previous procedures in the laboratory workflow. We believe that maximum control of the environment throughout the entire ART procedure is beneficial and will lead to better outcome.

With the SCE product line, you can now perform microscopy and ICSI with a stable, controlled and monitored CO2 and temperature, inside the working area.

SCE ICSI (Semi Closed Environment ? Int ra-Cytoplasmic Sperm Inject ion)- Digital inverted microscope (Zeiss objectives). 4x, 20x and 40x. Manual motorized focus/zoom.

Miri® GA Mini is a handheld device intended to do spot measurements of CO2 and O2. The Miri® GA Mini can connect to any brand of incubator and is a perfect accessory for spot monitoring on Miri® TL Time lapse and Miri® Multi-room Incubators.

Working procedures are to be as smooth as possible with the new culture dishes from Esco. We have targeted optimal work routines and smooth procedures in the lab. With the 4 different types of dishes, we are able to support and make various procedures and demands easier.

All dishes are Gamma-sterilized and Oxygen plasma-treated for high wet-ability (hydroscopic).

CultureCoin for Miri® TL- Holds up to 14 embryos with individual numbered wells

(1-14).- For single and separated culture where each embryo are

cultured in its own environment.- Ergonomic design for easy handling and location of embryos.- Separate well for pH measurements.- Packed in 1 dish pouches and delivered in boxes of 25 pcs.

Communal Reservoir CultureCoin for Miri® TL- Well of the well position for each embryo but culture medium

and oil overlay is shared for all positions.- Same ergonomic advantages as the regular CultureCoin, so

embryo placement and location are very easy and allow the pipette to be held in a comfortable angle.

- Holds up to 14 embryos. The wells are numbered (1-14).- Same footprint as the regular CultureCoin, so the user can

choose which type to use in the Miri TL.- Packed in 1 dish pouches and delivered in boxes of 25 pcs.

Fert ilizat ion and culturing dish for standard procedures- 8 separate wells (separation on both medium and oil layer).- Each well holds a maximum of 0.6 mL. Medium volumes can

be adjusted by the user. Microdroplet culture and larger volume culture possible.

- Well slopes down towards the center of the dishmaking oocyte or embryo; placement predictable and easy to locate.

- Central work area saves time when moving the dish during microscopy.

- Ergonomic pipette access angle.- Flat bottom for good thermal contact.- Lid is smaller than the dish (fits inside outer rim).Makes

handling safe. - Good gas exchange inside the dish due to sufficient opening

ESHRE 2015 was a very special experience for For Esco Medical. We are grateful to the existing users, our loyal customers, who helped by bringing their colleagues over to see our Miri® TL Time Lapse and Miri® Multi-room Embryo Incubators. We have received overwhelming positive response especially on the image quality and automatic cleavage detection software of Miri® TL. We are grateful also for giving us great inputs on our new products, the Semi Closed Enviroment (SCE) for IVF and ICSI. We will surely incorporate those in the final units.

ICSI Dish- The dish has 8 separate positions for oocytes.- Oocytes from one patient is loaded into these before the ICSI

start.- The wells are individually numbered.- One oocyte is then moved to the working area.- A sperm cell is loaded from the sperm area and injected into

the oocyte.- Then, the oocyte is moved to the other side to the culturing

wells. That side also has 8 wells. These wells are for the finished cells.

- A row of 8 washing wells are located in between.- Packed in 1 dish pouches and delivered in boxes of 25 pcs.- The Esco ICSI dish features working areas.

- One for the injection of the oocyte.- One for holding sperm.

On July 24-26, IVF Experts Meeting, the most prestigious annual conference on Assisted Reproduction in Vietnam, was held solemnly at the Imperial Hotel, Vung Tau City.

Having the same mission and as a support to the conference?s goals, Esco Vietnam presented the experts with the Miri® Benchtop Multi-room Incubator and Miri® TL Time Lapse Embryo Incubator. Miri® TL attracted and received overwhelming compliments from IVF specialists because of its excellent design, and advanced incubation and time lapse technology.

As the conference ended, everybody went home with a new hope, and will work with inspiration and a new perspective in their profession. Esco will always be here to support and look for answers that will uphold our common goals of giving hopes to those people who wants to have little ones.
