Start your tubers in 10-15 cm (4-6”) pots in a planter box medium. Keep pots moist, warm and frost free. 3. You can also plant your bulbs directly in the ground, when the soil outside is at least 10 °C (50 ° F).How:4. Dig a hole at least 15 cm (6” deep) and 15 cm (6”) wide. 5. Place the bulbs or started plants 10 cm (4”) deep and 30 cm (12”)apart. Fill in the hole and thoroughly water.After Care:6. Continue to water and disbud any faded blooms throughout the summer season. Fertilize through out the summer. 7. Callas are not winter hardy. After the fi rst major frost in the fall lift the bulbs. Remove growing stems and the soil around the bulbs. 8. Store the bulbss over winter in frost free boxes with dry peat until spring.
