    Student Checklist

Question? What should I check before submission?

Before you submit your Google Science Fair project site online, make

sure everything is good to go. Your fail-safe checklist is below.

Everyone has a question. Whats yours?

    Have I received parental consent?

    (Required for all team members)

Has my experiment followed the Google

Science Fair rules? (For example, we do not

accept the use of hazardous chemicals, animals

outside their natural environment, or humans

where they are subjected to health risk.)

Have I completed all pages of my project site

and kept within the word limit?

About Me (250 words or less)

The Question (250 words or less)

    Hypothesis (100 words or less)

    Research (500 words or less)

    Experiment (500 words or less)

    Data (500 words or less)

    Observations (500 words or less)

    Conclusion (500 words or less)

    Resources (2000 words or less)

    Acknowledgements (500 words or less)

Have I used the Google Science Fair site

    template?

Have I embedded a summary video (maximum

2 minutes) or presentation (maximum 20

    slides) into my project site?

Have I given public access (choose public onthe web in the sharing settings) to my site

and all videos, presentations, documents etc.

    embedded in it?

Are all the images/music/video/logos that I

used in my site, including the summary video

or presentation, my own property? (We cannot

accept projects which infringe copyright law.)

Once youve checked off all these questions,

your project is ready to be submitted. If you have

any unchecked questions, you must review theFAQs and the Official Rules to check what youll

need to fulfill before submission - otherwise your

    project risks being disqualified.
