Continue as you are, use your time wisely and ensure you are asking for help or support when needed. Sweet and Sticky Chinese Pork with Rice Ingredients 1 tbsp soy sauce, 3 tbsp sweet chilli sauce, 1 tbsp cooking wine or vinegar, 1/2 tsp sugar, black pepper, 1/2 onion, 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped, 500 gm pork mince, Yellow or red pepper, 2 large carrots, Spring onions Method In a bowl, combine the sweet chilli sauce, soy sauce, cooking wine, sugar and pepper. Chop your pepper and carrots into 3 cm pieces In a large fry pan on medium high, add 1 tbsp of oil, onion and garlic. Fry for 30 seconds. Add the pork mince to the pan and fry until the meat is nicely browned Add the pepper, carrots and the sauce to the pan. Combine and allow it to simmer on Medium heat for 3 – 4 minutes. Check the seasoning of your mince and adjust according to your taste. Cook the rice according to the instructions on the packet Serve the sticky pork on top of your rice and garnish with chopped spring onions Library Challenge Evie Everett-Kelway was the winner of our library competition last week, well done Evie.
