The Student Ambassador Scholarship Program is a leadership program designed to refine leadership

skills, foster intellectual growth, as well as enhance the relationship with A&M-Texarkana. Ambassadors will have the opportunity to represent the university and promote

A&M-Texarkana through various activities.

University Scholarship Policy: • Fundsareawardedintwopayments–fallandspringsemesters-andwill

becreditedtothestudent’saccountaftercensusdayofthesemester.(Fallawardsaredisbursedon/after9/1).

• AmendmentstothescholarshipprogrammaybemadebytheUniversityAdvancementOffice.

• StudentsmustmakeapplicationwiththeA&M-TexarkanaUniversityAdvancementOfficeinordertobeconsideredforthisfund.

• Recipientsmustmaintaintheminimumcriteriaofthescholarshippriortothedisbursementoftheawardyear.

• TheA&M-TexarkanaCoordinatorofScholarshipswillconfirmthateachscholarshipcandidatemeetstheGPAeligibilityrequirements.

• Allscholarshipsrecipientsareselectedwithoutdiscriminationbasedonage,sex,race,orreligion.

• Thescholarshipcommitteeisconsultedintheeventthattwoormoreapplicantsexhibitequivalentqualifications.
