Stubton Hall is an elegant 19 th century country house set within 24 acres of its own parkland with commanding views over the Lincolnshire countryside close to the Nottinghamshire border and the historic market town of Newark. The venue is available for exclusive use for corporate events, away days and product launches. Where is Stubton Hall? The picturesque village of Stubton lies 5 miles southeast of Newark and 10 miles northwest of Grantham in Lincolnshire close to the Nottinghamshire border. We are about 120 miles north of London, 25 miles east of Nottingham, 75 miles south of Leeds and easily accessible from mainline trains to the Newark stations. Why host a corporate event at Stubton Hall? We are ideally situated close to the A1 and the mainline station at Newark for easy access for delegates from the north or south. The Hall will be exclusively yours for the day. You will be able to take over the entire house and grounds without sharing it with any other parties, guests or residents. We will tailor-make your event to your specifications and promise not to railroad you into inflexible packages. We specialise in looking after people who know what they want, who understand a thing or two about understated good taste and who also appreciate our own expertise in entertaining and hospitality. How much will it cost? The cost of a corporate event at Stubton Hall is made up of a venue fee plus catering costs. Our venue fee for 2016 is £1000 for a full day from 8am-5pm full day and £750 for a shorter day of 8am- 2pm. Continental breakfast from £6 per person, light lunch from £10, but we can cater for much more, so just ask us! How many people can attend a corporate event at Stubton Hall? We can comfortably sit 200 people theatre-style in our Orangery, but we also have a variety of smaller rooms for more intimate meetings. The Bow Room can seat 20 around a large table, the Conservatory up to 40 around a large table, while the Music Room can seat up to 100 delegates in theatre style seating. All rooms are easily accessible and air-conditioned. How many people can sit-down at Stubton Hall for a meal? The Orangery can seat up to 200 people while the Music Room or the Conservatory can seat up to 50 people. We can also make arrangements for more intimate meals. What kind of food does Stubton Hall offer? We can cater all kinds of meals from coffee and viennoiserie or bacon butties to a light lunch served buffet style to a hearty lunch served at the table. We are especially proud of our delicious Ploughman’s lunch. Ask us for details! We expect to tailor the menu to your requests and timings, so let us know what suits you. Is there parking at Stubton Hall? Yes indeed! We have 24 acres of gardens and parkland with ample free parking. Can delegates get to Stubton Hall without a car? We are close to the mainline and local rail stations at Newark and Grantham. We keep a list of trusted local taxis, but we would also be delighted to arrange for transfers from the stations if required. What about AV equipment, flip charts, stationery or display boards? We will provide pads and pens for use by the delegates. Flip charts, screens and projectors, microphones and speakers or any other AV equipment are available to hire for an extra cost. We do not allow literature or charts to be affixed to our walls, but we can hire in display boards as needed. Will we be sharing Stubton Hall with corporate events? No way! We only do corporate events on an exclusive-use basis, so you will have complete privacy and full use of the hall and its grounds. Can we stay overnight? Yes please! We have 26 plush ensuite bedrooms. Corporate room rates are £150 per room including VAT at 20% with a minimum of 10 rooms per night. If you take all 26 rooms, the venue fee is discounted. Please ask us to provide you with a custom quote to suit your needs. Do we work with corporate booking agents? Of course! Please call us to discuss commission rates. How do we pay? Payment for corporate events must always be made in advance. We accept cards, bank transfers and cheques, but please note that we charge a processing fee for the use of a credit card. We reserve the right to cancel any booking for which a card transaction is declined or a cheque or bank transfer referred to drawer, whatsoever the reason.
