THE STRUGGLE FOR THE
ENVIRONMENT
THE MAIN PROBLEM :
- SQUALID PUBLIC PLACES
OBJECTIVES:- TO UNITE PEOPLE IN A CLEAN-UP ACTIVITY IN ORDER TO RAISE THEIR CONSCIOUSNESS ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT- TO MAKE CLEANER THE BANK OF THE RIVER NISTRU
WE DECIDED TO IMPLEMENT A PROJECT ON SOLVING THE PROBLEM OF LITTER IN PUBLIC PLACES
First stage :“Interviewing people’s opinion about the environment “.
WORKING ON QUIZ : We formed three groups and each group worked on a model of a quiz . Finally we selected the most suitable questions which were included in the quiz .
After that we made a survey in order to find out people’s opinion about the environment . People from our school and from society were asked about their opinion . The quiz wasn’t made in English, it was made in Romanian and Russian .
WE STARTED TO INTERVIEW PEOPLE.
THERE WERE ASKED 200 FELLOWS.

As well, we asked opinion of our school teachers
Some from our parents were asked too
And some pupils , of course
Finally we gathered all the answers and analyzed the “test”

Although the air is the most polluted component of the environmentwe decided to clean-up public of solid trash.

Analyzing the results of the quiz .
- the state of the environment in our town is deplorable
- the most polluted component is the air.- the attitude of our community to the state of the environment is very negative and indifferent.
SECOND STAGE:REPARING FOR THE EVENT.
Buying the equipment:
We bought 200 pairs of gloves , T-shirts and 500 thrash bags.
THIRD STAGE:ORGANIZING THE EVENT
Organizing the meeting
During one day we( Access students )and some other people organized a meeting in the moldovan school and talked about environment and the most polluted components .Also we invited all the students from our school and the russian ones to help us in gathering the litter.
The clean-up activity was organized on the bank of the Nistru river. There were involved about 60 people who gathered the litter from the bank.
Pupils from primary school and kindergarten were taught not pollute the soil by taking part in a clean-up activity .
The pupils were satisfied.
The main activity was to clean the bank of the Nistru . We’ve chosen a place and together with invited people went there .
We cleaned a large area and gathered a lot of litter. It was a little bit funny , because while working we were discussing among ourselves .

FOURTH STAGE:Evaluation of the project impact
INTERVIEWING PEOPLE AND ANALYZING THEIR OPINION ABOUT THE CLEAN-UP ACTIVITY:
We printed 200 papers with questions about the asked people’s opinion about the impact of the activity on people’s consciousness . After that we analyzed the answers and discussed about it together with our teacher and assistant.
According to the answers we received, we noticed that our was very useful. At the beginning we found that people liked our activity and it changed our environment .Also many people during the interview said that the clean-up thought them to love their community and to clean it, because they have to keep our town clean. The mentality of the participants changed for better. IT WAS A GOOD LESSON FOR ALL OF US.
