Sailing to Pellestrina Island

Edipo Re is the name of a historic motor sailing boat. As you sail along the Venetian lagoon, you will find out about the history of the boat, where several artists, intellectuals and personalities from the Italian 20th Century, such as Pasolini and Maria Callas, travelled and left a memory behind.

Along the route towards Pellestrina island, we will stop off where the lagoon meets the Adriatic Sea and spend a little time fishing or practising snorkelling to explore the secrets of the seabed and find out all the life that thrives there. Celeste will prepare some typical recipes from the lagoon, food and wine from traditional products sourced from organic farms, and then sail back to Pellestrina. On the island of fishermen, bobbin lace and multi-coloured houses and boats, you will discover a small world where people still live like they did once upon a time, at a slow pace and according to the eternal rite of “gossiping”. We set sail at 10 am. Return to the moorings by 8 pm. Minimum 6 people maximum 12 people Price per person €135

The transport service inside the resort is assured by two free vehicles and gives the chance to all our Guests to comfortably reach all the zones of Union Lido and Italy Camping Village. These two vehicles can also contribute to reduce inner traffic and raising safety along the Union Lido streets. IMPORTANT: - The shuttle service is reachable ONLY at the indicated stops. - Children under 12 can access the service only if with an adult. - The minimum way of each train line is about 30 minutes In the map the three transport lines, drawn in distinct colours with. DISCOVER WITH THE SEGWAY

Every Thursday. A different, fun and relaxing way to discover Cavallino-Treporti! It is a unique, original experience which will permit you to have a nice tour of our coast on manageable Segway, a two wheels funny electric, self-balancing single-seater vehicle, which blends mechanics, electronics, technology and informatics. The Segway is a kind of an intelligent push scooter; it is silent, ecological and generates no pollution. We propose you a tourist itinerary which will last about 1,5 hours and will cost 30,00 € per person. The departure will be from the Camping Union Lido, at the Info Point it will be possible to book your tour. Warning: minimum age to participate to the tour: 12 years old. Youngs from 12 to 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult during the tour. Further information and reservations at the Info Point in the pedestrian area.
