Available Sizes All standard UWR’s are stackable, 42” wide x 16.25” deep and available in five different heights for maximum vertical space efficiency: 18”, 34”, 45”, 61.5” and 84”. A specialty 76” tall x 24” deep x 42” wide cabinet is also available.

New MINI UWR is 22.375” wide x 16.25” deep and is available in four standard heights: 18”, 34”, 45” and 61.5”.

Stackable rack is available in two sizes: 48” and 64.5” high x 42” wide x 15” deep. Non-stackable cabinets are available in heights of 60”, 64”, 72” and 83”. Expandable racks are only available in the 34” and 40” widths and the 84” height.

Marvel racks are 42” wide and available in 18”, 45” and 61.5”, and 76” x 24” heights.

Locking System Fast, 1-step locking system - When padlocked, the locking arms engage steel lock rods into the cabinet, and then when the padlock is removed, the locking arms use gravity to drop away quickly and automatically.

Cumbersome, 3-step locking sys-tem - Must turn key, turn knob, and remove padlock to open. If keys are lost, they must re-order from a company in Switzerland or replace the rack. Many customers remove the lock, creating a security issue.

“QuickLock” locking system - lock is a slide bar that when the bars come to the center, they engage the lock rods into the cabinet. Customers have indicated that the bar sticks, which has caused them to keep a hammer in the arms room.

Barrel supports are very similar to Spacesaver’s UWR. Marvel designed a barrel support that has a round hole. This prevents weapons from tipping out of the barrel sup-port, but doesn’t hold the weapon securely enough to protect it during transport. Therefore, this is not an adequate substitute for Spacesaver’s transport components.

Barrel Supports Variety of patent pending barrel supports available for use during transport. Secures the weapon on top and front, preventing movement during transport.

Two types of “seismic” barrel supports available. One type of seismic barrel support is available for rough move-ment. Another barrel support with the ability to be pad locked is available - chain also available for use along full-width of cabinet.

Stocks Patent pending stock cups can be tightened to secure weapons dur-ing transport - requires no additional components.

Individual stock shelf available, but provides no protection or containment for gun stock. The fixed multi-stock support has some protection, but still has sharp edges and no secure weapon containment for transport.

It appears Marvel manufactures only two bases for stock support: the 10 - weapon base, and a universal base with stock cups.
