Communion to the Sick Those parishioners who are confined to their home may

request the Sacrament of Holy Communion by calling the

Parish Office.

opened a new "Enrollment Center" at our parish in

the Pope Francis Center (345 43rd Street). ALL New York

City Residents 10 years and older who reside in NYC's 5

Boroughs are eligible for the ID, regardless of immigration

status. Flyers are available in Church with more

appointment. Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins

SECOND COLLECTION Today's, second collection will go to help offset the cost of

Fuel. As we all know this year the cost of fuel is expected

to be very high. Please help your parish to meet these costs

by participating in this weekends second collection. Thank

you for your generosity!

(CUFFH) Churches United for Faith Housing is available to walk

you through the NYC affordable housing lotteries.

ANNUAL CHRISTMAS SALE/ UNUSED GIFTS Our Annual Christmas Sale will be in the chapel

on Sunday, December 8 from 8:00am-2:00pm.

If you would like to donate any unused gifts

such as: toys, clothing, accessories, perfumes,

colognes and household items, you can drop

them off at the Rectory addressed to Ibette.

St. Michael's Children's Choir We are happy to announce that we will beginning again

our Children's Choir, with our new Music and Choir

Director, Mr. Michael Leschinsky. The Children's Choir

will have rehearsals on Friday evenings at 6:00pm in the

Rectory and hopefully will soon be leading us in song and

prayer at the 12:00 noon Sunday Mass. The Choir is open

to children and youth from Fourth (4th) Grade and older.

To sign-up or register for the Choir, a parent or guardian

should fill out a Registration Form - available in the

Rectory Office or in the Catechism program. If you have

questions or would like more information, you can call

Opening of the 150th Anniversary Year

We will spiritually prepare to enter into our Parish's

150th Anniversary with a Novena that will be led by

our Anniversary Committee and our parish groups

and societies. The Novena will begin on Friday,

November 22nd and continue each day, concluding

with a Vigil on Saturday evening, November 30th

Memories and Photos of St. Michael's

History As we look forward to celebrating our 150th

Anniversary, we invite parishioners to share their

Memories, especially their photos with us. If you

have "old" photos of Parish Life and activities, we

would be happy if you could share them with us,

preferably by emailing them to us at:

saintmichaelbrooklyn150th@gmail.com OR if you

prefer to drop them off at the Rectory, you can do

that as well. During the course of the Anniversary

Year, we hope to have some opportunities to share

these Memories and parts of our History with the

whole parish.

Novena y Vigilia en preparación para el

Apertura del 150 aniversario

Nos prepararemos espiritualmente para entrar en el 150

aniversario de nuestra parroquia con una Novena que será

dirigida por nuestro Comité de Aniversario y nuestros

Grupos y Sociedades parroquiales. La Novena comenzará

el viernes 22 de noviembre y continuará cada día,

concluyendo con una Vigilia el sábado por la noche, 30

de noviembre. (Ver detalles en la página 3 o volantes en

la iglesia)

VENTA ANUAL DE NAVIDAD /

REGALOS NO UTILIZADOS

Nuestra venta anual de Navidad será en la capilla el

domingo 8 de diciembre de 8:00 a.m. a 2:00 p.m. Si desea

hacer un regalo de objetos no usados, como juguetes,

ropa, accesorios, perfumes, colonias y artículos para el

hogar, puede dejarlos en la Rectoría dirigidos a Ibette.

ID NYC en el Centro Papa Francisco El programa de identificación municipal "ID NYC" ha

abierto un nuevo "Centro de inscripción" en nuestra

parroquia en el Centro Papa Francisco (345 43rd Street).

Coro de niños de la Iglesia de San Miguel Nos complace anunciar que comenzaremos nuevamente

During the month of November we will be holding a Thanksgiving Food Drive,

asking parishioners to donate non-perishable and canned food to support our Parish

Soup Kitchen (tuna, pasta, beans, cooking oil, canned soups, and canned

vegetables are most needed). Food Donations may be brought to Church and left in

the boxes on either side of the altar, or brought to the Rectory during office hours.
