Reduces condensation Contains a mould inhibitor Prevents unsightly stains For interior use Low odour Quick Drying Matt white finish Anti-Condensation Paint Ideal for kitchens and bathrooms STIR WELL BEFORE USE Rustins Anti-Condensation Paint is based on a water-borne, non- yellowing type acrylic resin. It is for use on interior walls and ceilings, i.e. particularly under hot, humid conditions as commonly found in bathrooms and kitchens, where its thermal insulation properties reduce condensation. Preparation Ensure surfaces are clean and free from grease and contamination. Remove mould or fungal and treat with a suitable fungicidal solution. Allow freshly plastered walls at least 2 weeks to dry before use. Porous surfaces will require sealing with a coat of Rustins Quick Dry Primer & Undercoat and allowed to dry before applying Rustins Anti-Condensation Paint. Application Carefully break surface crust and stir well into the body of the paint. This crust is normal and is the basis of the thermal insulation technology of this product. Apply liberally with a synthetic-type bristle brush. One coat is sufficient but two coats will provide improved performance. Do not apply at temperatures below 10 O C or in conditions of high humidity. Re-coating Time This paint will be touch dry in approximately 30 minutes, depending on humidity and temperature, (min. application temp. 10 O C), and can be re-coated, or a top coat of emulsion paint or non-vinyl wallpaper may be applied after a minimum of four hours. Coverage 1 litre will cover approximately 7 sq.m in 1 coat depending on the absorbency of the surface. Cleaning Remove as much paint as possible from brushes and return it to the original container. Clean brushes immediately with water. If the brushes become hard, they may be cleaned with Rustins Brush Restorer or Rustins Cellulose Thinners. Disposal (pollution prevention) Some local authorities have special facilities for disposal of waste paints/varnishes /coatings. Do not empty product into drains or watercourses. Storage Store in a cool dry place with the lid tightly closed. Protect from frost. HEALTH AND SAFETY Contains texanol, a mixture of: 5-chloro-2- methyl-2h-isothiazol-3-one [ec no 247- 500-7] and 2-methyl-2h-isothiazol-3-o. May produce an allergic reaction. Causes skin irritation. May cause an allergic skin reaction. Causes serious eye irritation. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Wear protective gloves. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention. Take off contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. IF SWALLOWED: Call a POISON CENTRE or doctor if you feel unwell.
