Academic Year 2014-15. After deliberations, The Samiti decides to approve the final fee structure of the following Colleges/Institutes for the students who joined the course started during Academic Year 2014-15, subject to final approval/affiliation/permissions from respective Authorities. Figures are arrived at after considering the calculations drawn in the worksheet - calculation sheets of the respective colleges/institutes prepared by a Chartered Accountant. The students adrr~itted in Academic Year 2014-15 and there after continuing their studies will pay an enhanced fee of 8% each successive year as per the norms for 2014-15 till completion of the course. For example if the fee approved is Rs. 1,00,000/- then from 11" years onward till completion of the course i.e. say 11, I11 and IV year the fees will be Rs. 1,08,000/- per @. I n case the students take V th years for completing the course then he shall pay the fee approved in that year. I n case a student joins the course direct in second year, then he shall be required to pay Rs. 1.,08,000/-. Worksheet - Calculation sheets are available in the office.

This is in respect of finalization of fee for the course started during 2013-14. The fee declared was Rs. 50,370/-. The demand was for Rs.96,595/-.It is challenged . It is challenged mainly on the ground that the divisor factor was not taken into

during 2012-13 again and the sanctioned strength was 60 and not 120. There is substance in the point raised.-rhe college was allowed to charge adhoc fee of Rs. 66,150/-. The college has now given a letter dated 26/8/2014 stating that the fee may be finalized as Rs. 66,150/-. I t is stated that this has already been recovered from the students. I t is reasonable. We approve the same. Office to correct it.

This is in respect of the course started during 2013-14. The fee declared was Rs. 577201-. The point raised is the divisior factor of 240 is wrongly taken into consideration. The sanctioned strength was only 180 in 2012-13. Hence this should have been considered. There is substance in it. In the light thereof, if considered both the divisor factor and the usage charges, the fee comes to Rs. 74,300/-. There is no substance in the point regarding depreciation allowance, as it has been granted as claimed in the proposal. We also pointed out certain difficulties in there accounts. The Institute has also given a letter dated 26/8/2014 stating that the fee may be approved at Rs. 74,3001-. We approve the same . Ofice to declare it.

Received letter dated 16/6/2014 from the Institute. Mr. Vasa C.A to check about those 3 points mentioned in the earlier resolution and for which the reply is given Thereafter this is to be put up to the Samiti.

1 1 The time to subrnit the proposal online is extended up to 30/9/2014, subject to paynient of penalty of Rs. 30,000/- for per proposal per course as late fee in the form of Demand DraftlPay order in favour of "SHIKSHAN SHULKA SAMITI, Mumbai" payable at Mumbai. The hard copy to be submitted within 7days thereafter.

It is mandatory to all Colleges/Institutes to submit their proposal online. This is apart from submission of hard copy (the print out of the online submission) thereof. It is made clear that there shall be no further extension of time.

2) The Letter dated 1/8/2014 received from the Citizen Forum For Sanctity I n Educational System.The Samiti considers the point No. 1 is correct and it will be considered while finalizing the norm's for the year 2015-16. I n respect of point No. 2 mentioned in the said letter, it requires to be noted that Form No. 16 is already collected for all the employees which clearly indicate the TDS deducted in their accounts. Thus this is already taken care. Office to inform.

3 Received email letter dated 25/8/2014 from S.R. Pandit and Co. in respect of MET Institute of INashik. The remuneration to be paid was Rs. 4,50,000/- (including service Tax). But as there is stay in the proceedings from the Supreme Court in the matter the Samiti feels that some advance may be paid and the Samiti resolves to pay Rs. 1,50,000/- at this stage.
