Landon Crum

Ms. McCann’s Pre-K Class

Landon is an energetic and fun-loving little boy who is a wonderful addition to our Pre-K School Family! Landon loves to explore and learn in the classroom setting. As he works with different materials, Landon has become very creative and enjoys demonstrating his problem-solving skills. He has become quite the innovative student in the classroom! We are proud of the progress he has made and look forward to his future accomplishments! Congratulations Landon!

Isabelle is a creative thinker and imaginative student. She enjoys hands on learning experiences. Isabelle also enjoys collaborating with peers as well. She encourages her peers to try new ways of learning and seeks out different ways of learning! We are very proud of Isabelle. She implements many new ideas in her thinking and learning.

Matthew Post

Mrs. Zabatta’s Kindergarten Class

Matthew is very curious and loves to figure out how things work. He loves to create different things, such as toys, planets and different sized cubes, using his love of Math, problem solving skills, lots of manipulatives, and determination. Matthew demonstrated his innovative thinking when he completed our STEM design house project on Book-O-Ween Day. He was very determined to build a strong standing house and worked well with his partner. Way to go Matthew!

Graeyson is our STEM student of the month because he is a creative thinker. He loves to try new ways to solve problems and uses his 4 C's to complete science investigations in class. I am always eager to hear what Graeyson has to say and see the innovative designs he comes up with during our inquiries. He challenges his peers and pushes them to think outside the box. William is curious, creative, and full of ideas! During Science Olympics, he was often trying to come up with his own paper airplane designs! I love his original way of thinking!

Arvin is truly an example of an innovative student. He is always thinking in a very creative manner. He has interesting ideas and wonderful solutions to problems. Along with being innovative, Arvin is polite and respectful to both peers and adults. He can always be counted on to have both classwork and homework completed. Arvin is a great representative of a Turner Bartels Student of the Month. Congratulations, Arvin!

Evan is a essential piece to our classroom community. He excels in solving problems in orignal ways and enjoys sharing his critical thinking with peers and adults alike. In math and science he uses pictures, diagrams, and blue prints to solidify his reasoning and is always ready to particpate in class discussion. Keep up the amazing work Evan!

Atiksh was an easy choice for our innovative STEM SOM. He has the ability toquickly solve problems with fresh and inventive solutions. For example, he was able to successfully complete a science challenge by his innovative thinking that even impressed the teacher! He is very talented and at the same time humble. We think he's awesome!

Sasanth is an innovator because he has shown great self-motivated efforts to offer creative examples of critical thinking when responding during class discussions and in his written work. Sasanth goes above and beyond to show his learning in creative ways. Sasanth sets outstanding examples of innovative thinking for his class matesand inspires others to be more innovative themselves.

Elijah designed an innovative Science Olympics wind racer that travelled the furthest in our class competition. He works well in groups to problem solve and thinks of new ways to approach problems.

Hunter is very innovative and took our class to the science olympics! They won and did great! He is very creative and is very inquisitive!

Nikita is such a wonderful addition to our class. She is always thinking outside of the box and comes up with great ideas. She helps her classmates come up with new ideas and finds ways to use left over things in the classroom. Nikita, I am SO proud of you.

Ms. Best’s 4th Grade Class

Tucker was nominated by his peers for this award. They have noticed Tucker thinks outside the box, especially when it comes to math and science. He does a wonderful job of seeing situations from different perspectives, and makes real world connections to problems. Tucker thinks about solutions on a deeper level. We are all excited to see the great things he accomplishes in his future.

Gabriel is an “out of the box” kind of thinker AND he loves to create, whether it’s artwork, a mechanical model of the solar system, or an alternate way of doing things, he is most certainly innovative!

Karam is a talented and creative artist. He designs beautiful chalk art during recess and adds to his classroom assignments by designing creative reminders of his learning. Karam sees beauty and humor in the world around him and then recreates it in his drawings.

Ms. Soby’s 4th Grade Class

Yafet, always thinking outside of the box in any learning format. He is innovative with new ideas and forms of technology especially using our class Seesaw. He not only works out assignments-preferably math questions-but is able to teach other students using the tools given in the program. Yafet is great at combining music, vocabulary, and even drama to his ideas and learning. We really enjoy his enthusiasm and love for learning!

I chose Avery for the Innovative Award because I feel she is intelligent, very creative and is genuinely rooted in curiosity. She is able to think outside the box while completing her school work and encourages others to do the same. Way to go Avery! I am so proud of you!

Jacob thinks of new and creative ways to problem solve. When his classmates need help grasping a concept, he is able to explain the concept in a different way to help build their understanding. His innovative way of problem solving is an asset to his teachers and classmates.

“Necessity is the mother of invention” comes to mind when thinking of Kendell He has learned over the years how to be creative in solving problems such as repairing ripped backpacks with a stapler or using a paper clip to replace the broken hook on a lanyard. In addition, Kendell is always eager to share his creative problem solvinginventions with others.
