GETTING KIDS INTO MATH

Get kids a head start (early) because:Proficiency and fluency learned early on can help with problem solving and independent thinkingIt’s the foundation and building block for all STEMEarly success is needed for strong algebra skills and higher level math & science classesDon’t forget the SATs and ACTs (it’s never too early)!

GETTING KIDS INTO MATH

Practice time is important but make sure to incorporate different activities to keep them engaged and focused

Have kids flex math muscles through word problems (they’re going to HAVE to do them – might as well get good at them early!)

Challenge kids to think about math using their hands with interactive games
