Since 1928, Steelway Fensecure Ltd has continued to be a market leader in the field of fabrication

excellence and expertise. We manufacture from our two state of the art production facilities, which are

located in Wolverhampton and West Bromwich. Our continued commitment to industry standards,

specifications and design procedures, gives our customers the total confidence to continue to request

our help in providing standard and engineered fabrication solutions which meet their project

requirements, timescales and budgets. To achieve our goals for expansion and growth, we are now

split into 5 divisions, allowing a dedicated focus and expertise in each area.

To meet and exceed the quality assurance expectations of our customers, our operations are certified

under PAS99, an Integrated Management System. PAS99 encompasses BS EN ISO 9001 - for Quality

Management, BS EN ISO 14001 – for Environmental Management and OHSAS 18001 – for Health &

Safety Management. Due to the multitude of markets that we supply into, we are also committed to

many industry accreditation schemes, product certification and approvals and we fully comply with all

applicable legislation, both in-house and on site. Full certification and accreditation information is

DESIGN & EXPERTISE

Our sales and design functions are equipped with the latest technology systems available. Utilising

both 2D and 3D CAD software, combined with communication and IT systems, we are able to provide

our customers with a rapid response to enquiries and orders. Designing with 3D systems also allows

for easy design verification prior to fabrication. We continue to invest in our design and fabrication

facilities with plant, equipment, high speed automatic laser cutting equipment and software.

experience to take your product and project requirements from initial concept right through to

Obtaining the right access for a play areais important to ensure the health andwell-being of the users. One of the mainhazards associated with play areas aredogs bites and attacks and theToxocariasis infection that can be passedto children from dog faeces.

The Steelway Premier Safe range of gates are theideal playground entrance designed to comply withentrapments of BS EN 1176 and the RoSPAguidance relating to gates for playgrounds. Therange includes two types of self-closing gates onewith a sprung mechanism and one with a hydraulicmechanism. Each gate has been carefullyengineered to create a light weight, child friendly yetfunctional gate leaf. The rounded design of the gatecompliments our range of Playground Fencing.

Available as Pedestrian Gates and as Dual Usecombination gates the Premier Safe gate rangeprovides a full access solution for your play area.

Since the turn of the century Estate Fencing has been widely used by country estates andlandowners as an effective means of protecting areas of valuable land against animals.Traditionally manufactured from wrought iron, modern methods of metalwork fabricationhave enabled Steelway Estate Fencing to be manufactured from mild steel which enablesthe steel to be galvanized for long lasting protection against rust.

Steelway Estate Fencing is manufactured as a fully welded panel system that simply bolts together on site foreasy installation with a galvanized finish and optional powder coatings. This welded system saves time andmoney on site with quicker installation. Matching single and double leaf gates are available to suit.

Steelway Estate Fencing is typically available in 1.0m and 1.2m high and can be manufactured with crankedtops if required.

The Victorian era heralded manyarchitectural and landscape featureswhich we value today, including cast ironrailings which became a popular meansof enclosing public buildings, gracingchurch boundaries and proclaiming theproperty of private land owners and thehomes of the wealthy. Sadly, many ofthese beautifully ornate railings wereremoved for salvage in the Second WorldWar or allowed fall into disrepair andsome designs will never be seen again.

Thankfully there are enough of us enthusiasts, whocan get excited about restoring old property andfeatures, so that we can all have a glimpse of abygone and glorious age. Steelway Chertsey fencing provides the aestheticappeal of timber fencing whilst using mild steelposts and horizontal rails to provide a more robustand long lasting fencing system.

Steel posts and rails are hot dipped galvanized to BS EN ISO1461:2009 which gives an 85µm galvanized coating whichbonds itself to the mild steel posts and rails to form a barrieragainst corrosion giving a minimal life span of 25 years plusdepending on the location in the UK.

Which is unlike traditional timber posts which require regularmaintenance that can suffer from the harshness of our weathersystem causing them to dry out, crack and rot.

With galvanized top and bottom rails and box section posts thefence can be clad with either 100mm x 30mm plan Douglas Firtanalised Pencil Edge Top panels or 100mm half round timberpales. Pales are bolted to the rails and posts using galvanizedanti-vandal snap off fixings.

Manufactured in standard heights of 1.0m and 1.2m high wecan also manufacture matching single leaf lockable gates anddouble leaf lockable gates.

WHEELIE BINENCLOSURES


In 2014 rat treatments equated to 39% ofall pest services in the UK. In Londonalone the problem is much worse withover 100 complaints made to localauthorities on a daily basis. With anincreasing population in the UK the ratpopulation is also growing and waste ispart of the problem.

Our Wheelie Bin enclosures are designed to bebolted down to a concrete pad to keep out theseunwanted visitors. Constructed from 358 mesh toprovide a secure enclosure for the wheelie bins thedesign allows for clear visibility which prevents anti-social behaviour and allows air flow through theenclosure preventing a build-up of smells and litter .A self-closing and lockable gate with pin padcombination lock is provided to enable a secureaccess for residents.

Available in galvanized only or galvanized andpolyester powder coated finishes. We canmanufacture these enclosures to suit height, spaceand number of bins you wish to store.

We believe in offering our customers the bestpossible finish. This is achieved through aminimum* of 16 separate processes whichstart upon completion of the manufacturedproduct in bare metal.

Each item under goes the first stage ofthe finish within the galvanizing processwhich is carried out in accordance withBS EN ISO 1461:2009. This is thenfollowed by our own in house inspectionwhere we manually remove any sharpsthat may have occurred during theprocess. Once this part of the finishingtreatment has been completed theproduct then under goes the powdercoating process which is carried out inaccordance with BS EN 13438:2013.

*this does not include all of the rinseswhich occur as part of the process.

Our products are supplied with a matt finish as standard. Glossand tactile finishes may cost more. The colours shown on this pageare for guidance only and are not exact replicates of the actualcolour supplied. RAL colours may vary between different finishes.
