    Girls Generation is a 9 member girls group from

    South Korea They are currently among the most successful

    Girls Group in South Korea with large sales

    volumes, numerous awards won

    However, there are hints that the members in thegroup are not equally liked by fans

    DATA COLLECTION METHOD

    Survey: Ask each respondent to

    grade each member in

    terms of 4 attribute:

    Singing, Dancing, Look,

    Charisma Each attribute is worth 10

    points. The Total score is

    then added up from single

    attribute and has a

    maximum value of 40

    This total score is what

    constitutes the population

    for each treatment.

    Survey is designed using monkeysurvey.com. The

    survey is also hosted by monkeysurvey.com

    Use Soshified.com, Allkpop.com, Thaisoshi.com

    and our personal networking to distribute the

    survey.

    We have 197 respondents from US, Korea,

    Canada, Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam, China,

    Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore,

    Australia, Peru, Germany, Russia, Netherlands,New Zealand, Switzerland

    Since we are comparing 9 population means and

    we have single factor, we are going to use One-way

    ANOVA which involves the use of F-statistics

    RESULT/CONCLUSION

    0.9604648 < 1.9600385 => F observe < F Crit

    => at level of significance of 0.05, we do

    not reject the Null Hypothesis

    We can conclude that all Girls Generation memberare equally liked by all the fans in the world. The

    number at the fan forum is misleading.

    RECOMMENDATION

    The company is on the right track. Keep on

    promoting each member equally (have relatively

    equal screen time, equal solo dance, equal singing

    line, equal appearance on TV Shows)
