It will be featured during the citywide open house on Saturday, Dec. 15, honoring “The Way We Worked” exhibit at the High Plains Museum. Born in Exeter and raised in Hampton Falls, N.H., he became inspired by art as a boy, while work- ing on a dairy farm. During breaks, he would enjoy the farmer’s wife’s pie and ice cream while watching her paint. During high school he won several awards, including a state competition which sent him to nationals where he won honorable mention. After serving time in the U.S. Marine Corp, he attended the Art Institute of Boston and received an Associate of Fine Arts Degree. Currently he owns his own studio, Elwyn Road Studio, and exhibits his art with the Blackbird Studio and Gallery on Main. This is his third exhibit at the Carnegie Arts Center.
