CHTRF2016: Multi-GNSS field campaign
and AGNES permanent network
• All ~200 reference points measured in summer 2016 (1988-
1995 establ., 1998, 2004, 2010 remeasured every 6 years)
• Multi-GNSS knowledge extension (permanent analysis later
because campaigns are less time-critical)
LV95; 1988-1995; passive; ~200 stations, Multi-GNSS since 2016 AGNES; 1998-2001; active; 42 stations,

Stability of the Swiss National Reference frame from GNSS analysis in Switzerland and Europe
Summary
• Multi-GNSS (GPS+GLO+GAL+BDS) measurements used for
reference frame maintenance (permanent network and
campaign data) since 2016
• Combination 1989 – 2018 successful
- based on partial reprocessing back to 1996
- similar field as derived 2010 (small horizontal velocities
0.2-0.3 mm/yr standard deviation to zero field)
- systematical velocities South of Rhone-Rhein: < 1 mm/yr
- AGNES Permanent network is integrated
- combination with EU velocities realized
• Data set to derive a kinematic model for Switzerland and to
analyse correlations with Geology and Seismology
