GENTLE REMINDERS and INFORMATION 1. Punctuality Be prompt in sending and picking up your child to and from school. 2. Health Matters - DO NOT bring your child to school if he/she is unwell. Inform the school office. - If you bring your child to school, please wait until your child is 'cleared' before leaving. - Please come as soon as possible if you are informed by the school of your child being suspected or showing symptoms of contagious illnesses. - The school will at our discretion put on mask for the child who is found to be having cough or cold. 3. School Attire Compulsory to put on uniforms / PE attire with white shoes and socks at all time with the exception of child's birthday and special events. 4. Birthday Celebration - Please inform the office 1 week in advance. - If you would like to be present for the celebration, please come 5 minutes before snack time (refer to the time-table). There will not be any time allowance or grace period if parents are late. This is to avoid disruption of lessons. - Only 2 adults are allowed into the classroom. 5. Mosquito Matters - Fogging and mosquito treatment are carried out in our compound fortnightly. - Before children go for outdoor activities, insect repellent will be applied. 6. Safety - NO parents or visitors are allowed in the premise without permission. - Notify the office if there is a change of arrangement in picking up your child. 7. Relief Tamil Teacher for N1 and K1 Teacher Leena will be the teacher for a month. Teacher Angel has taken one-month leave as her father is critically ill in India. Hope you had an enjoyable bonding time with your children over the one month June holidays! In term 3, we have a number of exciting events and a new curriculum. The line-up of events are as follows : - -Racial Harmony Day - children will be expose to the diversity of the different cultures -National Day - celebrating Singapore's Year of Jubilee - 50th Birthday -Family Day cum Showcase - family bonding in a relax and fun way and a showcase of children's project work that you can be proud of. -'Creative Arts' - Music and Movement for the Nurseries on every Monday and Dance Sessions for K1 and K2 on every Tuesday. These programmes will encourage group participation, improve social skills, balancing, coordination and rhythm; and refine listening. (NOTE: Children are to come in their PE Attire) -'Fun Start Move Smart' - This is a new curriculum designed by Singapore Sport Council. It aims to improve motor skills in young children. It is in a form of physical exercises (PE) and our very own teachers will be conducting these lessons. We believed that all these events and activities will be beneficial to our children. We are all excited and looking towards a fun and fulfilling term. Let us continue to work closely with one another to create a lasting impact in our children's learning journey.
