Ministry and Continuing Education for Adults Because Our Faith is too Rich to have ever Learned it All…
Contact Heidi Clark, Director of Adult Ministry, 281.333.3891, Ext. 328 or [email protected] for more information.
Adult faith formation at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church is centered around the understanding that living
“The Way” taught by Jesus Christ is a life-long, evolving journey, involving both effort and decision. To enable adults to explore the
faith and deepen their knowledge of God’s Word, we provide many opportunities to come together in a learning environment. As a
diverse community with a small parish feel, we know it is important to walk that journey with others and to share what we have
learned along the way.

READY FOR TAKE OFF! ANNOUNCING THE 2017 OUT OF THIS WORLD FESTIVAL COORDINATORS:
Tony Quezada contact: 281.217.18107 or [email protected]
Mele Paul contact: 281.455.31873 or [email protected]
Please pray that the Holy Spirit will guide them as we once again begin the process of bringing our St. Paul Community together to offer an Out of This World Festival that brings glory to God!
Please take a moment to e-mail or call them to personally express your gratitude and let them know that you will be praying for them. You can also let them know how you would like to participate in the Festival this year!
i, members of our St. Paul family! My name is Mele Paul. My husband, Tom
and I have been members of St. Paul since 1991. Some people aren’t sure of how to pronounce my first name. Both e’s are pronounced the same – “eh”, like in the word “every”. We have four children, Shirley (25), Valerie (21), Kevin (19) and Jason (16); all baptized here at St. Paul. All have served as altar servers and Jason who is still at home, is till serving at masses. I am an ACTS sister, having teamed on 5 retreats. I helped start our Perpetual Adoration ministry and chair the St. Paul Vocations Committee. My family has been involved in the Parish festival even before it was a “Festival”! We have had booths selling chicken-on-a-stick, meatballs and rice, piña-colada drinks and even ice cream!
When Tony asked me if I would join him as co-chair for this year’s festival, I decided it’s time to step out of my food booth and take a larger role in the festival’s success. In my Samoan culture we call upon our large extended family to help when there are important functions like weddings or funerals. Through joining our efforts and different but collective talents, things get handled and we are all better than through just the efforts of one person or a small group.
You, brothers and sisters of St. Paul, have become my extended family here in this country of the United States. I reach out to you to volunteer, to jump in with your ideas and efforts and come help us with this year’s festival to make it the best one ever. I’m excited about the challenge and I am looking forward to working together with all of you. Mele
hough we are in the very HOT middle of summertime, the OOTW Festival is really just around the
corner!! It’s not too early to start planning and getting ready! Bring back items from your vacation for the auctions, start making plans with family, neighbors and friends to attend and participate in the chili cook-off and 5K Run, ask your employers or other friends in local businesses for donations and support!! As your co-Chairs for this
year’s Festival we’d like to introduce ourselves.
I am Tony Quezada, a parishioner here at St. Paul since 2004. I have taught S.P.A.C.E. to freshmen and sophomores, been involved with ACTS, Men Who Cook, served as an officer in The Knights of Columbus and am currently on the Pastoral Council. Each year I have helped in numerous duties with the Festival. The parish and its well-being are very much a part of my and my family’s lives. My son was active in the work to build our Peace Garden. This Festival is not only great, great fun, pulling us all together as the spiritual family that we are, it is also the parish’s largest (and key, needed) fund raiser. As you know, past festivals have allowed us to place a new roof over the older part of the building. It has provided for Air Conditioning across the whole facility and heating in Founder’s Hall. (In fact it’s provided for Founder’s Hall!) We have been able to resurface the parking lot as well. In the past 2 years we together have raised over $150,000 at this event. We are praying to accomplish the same, if not even more, this year!
Thank you to everyone that has worked and participated in the festival in the past years. I invite you to be actively involved with me in the Out Of This World Festival this year. There are opportunities and needs of all kinds whatever your interest and talents are, behind the scenes or in front of the crowds!! Looking forward to working and enjoying time together as we again reach for and touch the stars with all our collective efforts! Tony

¡LISTOS PARA LANZAR! ANUNCIANDO LOS COORDINADORES DEL OUT OF THIS WORLD FESTIVAL DE 2017:
Tony Quezada: Contacto 281.217.18107 o [email protected]
Mele Paul: Contacto: 281.455.31873 o [email protected]
Los invito a participar activamente conmigo en el Out Of This World Festival este año. Tony
