God gave them little Nicholas. Unfortunately, his parents soon died and the boy was raised by his uncle - the bishop of Patara, also named Nicholas. He became a priest wanting to spread love and kindness After his uncles death the bishop and his successors occurred and they chose Nicholas for a bishop In his life he always fought against injustice and for the love of neighbour in which to recognize God. Exhausted by penance and business dies on the sixth of December in 327th Protector of children, sailors, women, and many others On the 6th of December parents give gifts to children in memory to St. Nicholas. Krampus is a mythical creature recognized in Alpine countries. According to legend, Krampus accompanies St. Nicholas during the Christmas season, warning and punishing bad children, in contrast to St. Nicholas, who gives gifts to good children. When the Krampus finds a particularly naughty child, it stuffs the child in its sack and carries the frightened thing away to its lair, presumably to devour for its Christmas dinner.
