on St Mary’s site originally agreed as part of the Capacity map for Portsmouth and South East Hampshire to support the PFI build at Queen Alexandra Hospital
■ Strategic Outline Case for the development produced in December 2001

in May 2008 and the SHA in August 2008 ■ Full Business Case approved by the PCT

What happens to the rear of the site ?
■ The rear of the site continues to be owned by Portsmouth Hospital Trust (PHT)
It is PHT’s intention to:
■ Demolish the existing buildings from Blendworth
■ Redevelop as a housing development with some employment use
■ Planning permission to proceed has been granted
