Lenten Regulations 2021 Weekday of Lent There is no obligation to fast. However, voluntary acts of self-denial are recommended. Ash Wednesday and Good Friday: These are days of Fast and Abstinence from Meat. There is a limit of one meal on these days for all be-tween the ages of 18 and 59 inclusive. Days of Abstinence: (All Friday in Lent) All who have reached their 14th year are bound to ab-stain from meat. Easter Duty Obligation: After they have received their First Holy Communion, Catholic are bound by the obligation of receiving Holy Communion at least once a year. This precept should be fulfilled during the Easter Season. Catholics are also bound to confess serious (mortal sins at least once a year, but this is not limited to the Lenten/Easter Season.

Regulaciones de Cuaresma 2021 Semana Santa de Cuaresma No hay obligación de ayunar. Sin embargo, se recomien-dan los actos voluntarios de abnegación. Miércoles de Ceniza y Viernes Santo: Estos son días de ayuno y abstinencia de carne. Hay un límite de una comida en estos días para todos los que tengan entre 18 y 59 años inclusive. 642 4 Primer domingo de Cuaresma Marcos 1, 12-15 En aquel tiempo el Espíritu empujo a Jesús al desierto. Se quedó en el desierto cuarenta días, siendo tentado por Sotana; vivía con fieras y los ángeles le servían. Después de que Juan fue entregado, Jesús se marchó a Galilea a proclamar el evangelio de Dios; decía: “Se ha cumplido el tiempo y está cerca el reino de Dios. El Papa enumera 5 crisis del mundo de hoy causadas por la pandemia de COVID 19 Crisis económica y social El Pontífice llamó la atención sobre las “graves repercusiones en el desempleo para las empresas, especialmente las pequeñas y medianas, y como consecuencia en la vida de las familias y de sectores enteros de la sociedad, en modo particular los más débiles”. “La crisis económica que siguió ha puesto de relieve otra enfermedad que nos afecta actualmente: la de una economía basada en la explotación y el descarte tanto de las personas como de los recursos naturales”, advirtió. La crisis actual es, por tanto, “una ocasión propicia para replantear la relación entre la persona y la economía. Lo que se necesita es una especie de “nueva revolución copernicana” que ponga la economía al ser-vicio del hombre y no al revés”. Sobre la lacra de la explotación, señaló que la crisis “ha afectado particularmente a quienes trabajan en los sectores informales, que fueron los primeros en ver desaparecer sus medios de subsisten-cia”. “Al vivir fuera de los márgenes de la economía formal, ni siquiera tienen acceso a los amortiguadores sociales, incluidos el seguro de desempleo y la asistencia sanitaria. Asi-mismo, “el flujo masivo encontró un incremento del número de las expulsiones ilegales, a menudo llevadas a cabo para impedir que los migrantes pidan asilo, violando el principio de no expulsión. Muchos son interceptados y re-patriados en campos de acogida y de detención, donde sufren torturas y violaciones de los derechos humanos, cuando no encuentran la muerte atravesando mares y otras fronteras naturales”. Frente a este drama, “los corredo-res humanitarios, implementados en el curso de los últimos años, contribuyen ciertamente a afrontar algunas de las problemáticas mencionadas, salvando numerosas vidas. Sin embargo, la magnitud de la crisis hace cada vez más urgente erradicar las causas que obligan a emigrar, como también exige un esfuerzo común para apoyar a los países de primera acogida, que se hacen cargo de la obligación moral de salvar vidas humanas”. Finalmente, sobre la crisis económica el Papa se mostró crítico con las sanciones económicas impuestas a algunos países, ya que han agravado las crisis humanitarias. Las sanciones, aseguró, “terminan en su mayor parte por repercutir principal-mente en los sectores más débiles de la población, más que en los responsables políticos. Por lo tanto, aun com-prendiendo la lógica de las sanciones, la Santa Sede no ve su eficacia y espera su relajación, también para favorecer el flujo de ayudas humanitarias, sobre todo de medicamentos e instrumentos sanitarios, sumamente necesarios en este tiempo de pandemia”.
