Upcoming Events

The Daily Mass book is now open for the 2020 mass intentions. Parish Food Collection: will take place on March 28th and 29th . It will be donated to the Salvation Army in Passaic Thank you for your fervent support.

St. Mary’s Rosary Society: will meet on March 14th at 1:00 pm.

Parish Council Meeting: will take place Mon-day , March 16th at 7:00 pm. It will be in the caf-eteria.

Lenten Offering to the Lord: “Say to the LORD, “My refuge and fortress, my God in whom I trust.” Psalm 91:2. This will take place on March 1st and will conclude on Easter. It will con-sist of offering $1.00 a day as a gift to the Lord during the season of Lent. Thank you!

Primer domingo de Cuaresma Santo evangelio según San Mateo 4:1-11 En aquel tiempo, Jesús fue llevado al desierto por el Espíritu para ser tentado por el diablo. Y después de ayunar cuarenta días con sus cuarenta noches, al fin sintió hambre. El tentador se le se le acercó y le dijo: “Si eres Hijo de Dios, di que estas piedras se conviertan en panes”. Pero él le contesto, diciendo: “Esta escrito: “No so-lo de pan vive el hombre, sino de toda palabra que sale de la boca de Dios”. Enton-ces el diablo lo lleva a la cuidad santa, lo pone en el alero del templo y le dice: “Si eres Hijo de ángeles que cuiden de ti, y te sostendrán en sus manos, para que tu pie no tropiece con las piedras”. Jesús le dijo: También está escrito: “No tendrás al Se-ñor, tu Dios”. Después el diablo lo lleva a una montaña altísima y, mostrándole los reinos del mundo y su adora. Entonces le dijo Jesús: Vete, Satanás, porque está es-crito: “Al Señor, tu Dios, adoraras y a él solo darás culto”. Entonces lo dejo el diablo, y se acercaron los ángeles y le servían.
