Jesus said: “To what shall we compare the kingdom of God? It is like a mustard seed.” We have seen with the coronavirus how some-thing so small can have a big impact. This is what Jesus tells us about our faith and the grace of God. It may seem like our worship and ac-tions as disciples of Christ don’t make much of a difference in a world full of anger and hatred. On the contrary, even giving a cup of cold wa-
ter to a child shakes up the universe and makes the Kingdom of God more present.
As we await the lifting of restrictions, I ask you all to pray for a re-newal of the kingdom of God in our parish. We should not want to go back to “normal.” We pray that we can go forward to “better.”

But these feelings, combined with teenage hor-mones and decision-making capabilities, can lead to some poor choices, including sexting. Sending nude images is dan-gerous and puts the sender and the receiver at risk. Photos can be shared instantly on cell phones and social media, and once out there, the images never go away. Talk to your teen about the consequences of sexting and the importance of building healthy relationships where partners respect boundaries and don’t ask for explicit images. Full Training
Full Training at OMSI, will be Sat-urday, June 26, in the downstairs conference room from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The program trains adults to be eyes, ears, and voice of chil-dren in preventing child sexual abuse. All employees and volun-teers, whose ministry brings them into contact with children and youth, must take the class. Please call the parish office to sign up.

Es como una semilla de mostaza.” El coronavirus es algo tan pequeño que no se puede ver, sino sabemos que ha tenido un efecto grande en nuestro mundo. Es igual con el po-der de nuestra fe y la gracia del Señor. Aunque lo que podemos hacer en el nombre de Dios parece poco, en medio de las fuerzas de ira y violencia, Jesús nos dice que con un acto como dar de beber a un niño empieza el Reino de Dios entre nosotros
Ojalá que pronto vamos a dejar muchas de las reglas contra la pandemia. Hay que pedirle al Señor que no volvemos a “lo normal,” sino a “lo mejor.” ¡Que el Señor les cuide siempre!
