The next second collection will be June 15-16 for Catholic Communications Campaign

Next week, at the Masses of June 15/16, parishes in the Diocese of Albany will take up the Annual Collection for the Catholic Communication Campaign. This collection helps the Church communicate the Gospel through Catholic social media activities and enriches our faith through print and electronic media. Half of all proceeds remain in our diocese to support local needs, so please be generous in this collection. In our diocese we are able to provide television, radio, print and social media materials that spread the Good News of Christ’s abiding love for each and every one of us. Let us pray as a community that the Good News of the Gospel will continue to be spread by wise use of communications technology. Please be generous!

Stewardship must never be a philosophy of how much we contribute to our church

in terms of time, talent, and treasure. It is about how we use all the gifts we have been given

in all aspects of our life.
