The Catholic faithful who reside in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and all other Catholics contin-ue to be dispensed from the obligation of attending Sunday Mass. Those who are at risk or fearful that they or their family might become sick are encouraged to stay home and join the church by viewing live-streamed Masses. Those who wish to participate in Mass & receive Holy Communion can attend any Mass, any day of the week. Live streaming of Mass will continue from Immaculate Conception each Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
Public Masses resumed at St. Helen on May 30th at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and 9:00 a.m. on Sunday.
Daily Masses will be celebrated at 9AM Monday-Friday at Immaculate Conception only, during this time, and you are invited to join us. These daily Masses will continue to be streamed live each morning. You may view Mass by clicking here. This is part of Phase 1 of our parish reopening. The staff has spent countless hours trying to imagine needs and possibilities, and we will have many new protocols, guided by the Archdio-cese, that all parishioners must follow to attend Mass. If you would like to attend Mass please read through the information contained here.
When we receive communion, we are not only a tabernacle for Christ.
WE MUST REMEMBER THAT WE ALREADY ARE PART OF THE BODY OF CHRIST.
That Christ is within us
and part of us at all times.
That just as Christ is present in the Eucharist
and present in the Word
and present in the priest,
Christ is also present in us.
When we look to the altar and the crucifix,
let us look inside ourselves as well.
Let us see and call upon and BE the Christ within us
to make the world a kingdom of love.

LAY CATHOLIC STUDIES
OPPORTUNITIES The Holy Father calls us to be “Missionary
Disciples” for the world. Mount St. Mary’s School of
Theology, sponsored by the Archdiocese of Cincin-
nati, helps lay Catholics prepare for this great task
through theological coursework, spiritual growth, and
pastoral formation. Take a class for credit or audit,
work toward a degree in Pastoral Ministry, Theology
or Biblical Studies, or earn a Certificate in Ministry.
Daytime, weeknight and Saturday classes begin Au-
gust 19th. Classes are designed for busy adults, and
help you grow in wisdom while preparing for new
opportunities. Class locations for 2020-21 include
Cincinnati and Vandalia. Call 513-231-1200 for infor-
mation.
THE PARISH GARDEN IS OFF TO A GREAT START!
If you have some extra time and would like to help with weeding or
harvesting, please call Sue in the parish office, 937.254-6233
or email at [email protected]
GOD BLESS THE WORLD Mighty God, Father of all,
Compassionate God, Mother of all,
Bless every person I [have] met,
every face I have seen,
every voice I have heard,
especially those most dear;
bless every city, town and
street that I have known,
bless every sight I have seen,
every sound I have heard,
every object I have touched.
In some mysterious way
these have all fashioned my life:
all that I am,
I have received.
Great God, bless the world.
