St. E’s Digital Photography Club ST. E’s Digital Photography Club About Photography Club: Photography Club is open to students from middle school grades. We study both technical and artistic aspects of photography and learn about the effects of varying focal length, shutter speed, aperture and ISO. Students will learn about composition and lighting, using natural as well as artificial lighting. Subjects include the St. E’s campus, architecture, landscape, nature and still life, as well as self portraits, portraits of family members, friends, and pets. Most work is done on digital cameras. Students will each exhibit one photograph at Saints Coffee House this fall. *Returning students will be offered new photo assignments including self portraits and lighting work. We will learn how to use some basic tools in Adobe Photoshop. Each student builds and maintains an album on the club’s secure Shutterfly site and a selection of student work may be displayed in the school. Any camera from a point and shoot, to a digital SLR camera may be used. If you do not have a camera one can be borrowed from the instructor for in-school use. Please provide a snack AND a drink for your student each week. About.
