The Fund for the Needy wishes to extend a most sincere “Thank You” to who all of the contributors to the Family-to-Family Christmas Wish program. Through your generosity, over 98 families and 235 children are receiving over 700 gifts along with 28 seniors who received “Wise Men” gifts this year. The Fund for the Needy also wishes to extend a very special thanks to the many volunteers and the Fund for the Needy Committee mem-bers and benefactors who helped to make this year’s program an outstanding success. Coffee & donuts will not be served after the Masses on Sun-day, Dec 24th so that the wonderful volunteers who bring you Sunday Hospitality may enjoy more time with their families. Coffee & donuts will be resume on Sunday, Dec. 31st after the 8AM & 10AM Masses.

Monday, January 1st is not a Holy Day of Obligation

Fund for the Needy Food Pantry

Please note that the food pantry is now closed for the Christmas and New Year holidays. The pantry will reopen for business as usual on Wed., Jan. 3rd, 9:00 AM -1:00 PM.

PARISH BOOK CLUB - will meet on Mon-day, Jan. 8th, at 6:30 PM in the Parish Center to discuss Life of Christ by Bishop Fulton Sheen. Book Club members will then begin reading Friday, the Rabbi Slept Late by Harry Kemelman for the next discussion meeting on Monday, March 8, 2018.

The St. Bonaventure Parish book club is infor-mal and always welcomes new members. Meet-ings are held on the second Mon. of every other month (Jan., Mar., May, Jul., Sep. & Nov.) to provide ample opportunity to complete the readings. About the Christmas Collection …

There is only one collection at the Christ-mas Masses, and all proceeds are forwarded to the Clergy Benefit Trust as mandated by the Archdiocese of Boston. The Clergy

Benefit Trust is chronically underfunded and therefore in need of financial support. However, if you wish your dona-tion to remain in the parish, you must clearly mark you enve-lope “Parish Use Only.”
