UNDERSTANDING THE HOLY EUCHARIST
A 5-session program at St. Anthony’s led by Sr.
Terry Smith FcJ. Registration forms are available at
stanthonyscalgary.com, in the hall and the office.
Session 1 February 7 Session 2 February 28 Session 3 March 14 Session 4 March 28 Session 5 April 11
With Burning Hearts seeks a fuller understanding
of Eucharist through the story of the disciples on
their way to Emmaus from Jerusalem. Henri
Nouwen shows us how the Eucharistic event is
intensely human, revealing the deepest human
experience: sadness and loss, attentiveness and
invitation, intimacy and engagement. With Burning
Hearts calls us to experience all of this journey, to
know what we celebrate and what we are called to
live are one and the same.
THANK YOU – THANK YOU – THANK YOU A sincere thank you to all those who made the celebration of Christmas Masses so special – choir members, lectors, Extraordinary Eucharistic ministers, welcome ministers, altar servers; sacristans, ushers & greeters, church art and environment volunteers, children’s pageant leaders and youth. The celebrations were well attended and well participated. May God shower His many blessings upon all of you.
2019 PARISH DONATION ENVELOPES are now available for you to pick up in the Hall. Pre-Authorized Withdrawal forms are also available at the back of the church and in the Hall. You can also make your parish contributions online at stanthonyscalgary.com.

FR. JACK’S CHUCKLE
In a small town a man dialed 016 for directory
information. A woman’s voice at the other end said,
“I’m sorry, you have to dial 015 for that.” It seemed
to him, when he had dialed 015, that he was hearing
the same voice at the other end. So he said, “Aren’t
you the lady I spoke to a while ago?” “I am,” said the
voice. “I’m doing both jobs today.”
