FUND FINANCE

Haynes and Boone, LLP’s Fund Finance Group is a global leader in the representation of commercial and investment banks acting as agents and lead arrangers in subscription financings for private equity funds around the world. Our firm was instrumental in developing the structure and documentation for this type of financing in the early 1990’s.

Today, our clients benefit from our team’s more than 25 years of industry experience in the global subscription finance market, taking a multi-disciplinary approach to working with clients and their customers on each transaction, which includes preserving the lender-borrower relationship by conducting all negotiations with an understanding of the fund’s business issues, while preserving each fund’s relationship with its investors.

We are proud of the breadth of our team and the low turnover in our group. Most of our team members have been with us since graduation from law school, and so have developed a deep understanding of subscription financings at every level. We work seamlessly across our offices, and our Finance team is supported by lawyers in our ERISA, Tax and, as needed, Bankruptcy sections, who are familiar with the facility structure and the interests of our clients.
