Why would you use a mapping unit?
• Where you need a position better than autonomous GPS
• No local base station is available
• Where the baseline is greater than 300km
• Where RTK precision is not needed
• Where realtime positioning is not a requirement

rectification• Mapping services in remote
Islands• Vegetation mapping on
remote islands• Faster Access to PP data

This is not an option for users using Arcpad with GPS Correct extension

How?
Change File type to Base Default name
is Base followed by reverse date/ time

Selecting Antenna and Logging options
Enter the correct antenna height
Select the type of antenna
5sec logging is fine for base files
