InformationREGISTRATIONPlease review this section carefully as it contains valuable information about program registration. Unless specifically stated, GSHNJ programs are for registered members only. Programs are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and must be completed through our online registration system. Age LevelsThroughout this program guide, the grade/age levels will be color-coded and denoted in the following way:

How To Register

1. Decide which program(s) you wish to attend.

2. Be aware of the registration closing date for your event.

3. Go to gshnj.org and click on Register in the top right corner.

4. Log in and click on the “Activities” tab on the top left-hand side.

5. Type all or part of the name of your desired program in the white search box on the right side of the page. A list of search results will appear; click “view all” and all results will appear on one page.

6. Click on the program name and click “Register Now.”

7. Follow the prompts and select who you wish to register.

8. Check out, and process your payment.

9. You will receive an email confirmation.

Chaperone Policy

If you are attending a GSHNJ Program as an individual girl, you must have an adult chaperone accompany you. Unless specifically indicated, no GSHNJ Programs are “drop-off” events.

If you are attending a GSHNJ Program as a troop/group, you must begin with two unrelated adult chaperones (both with cleared background checks on file; one of whom is female) and may add additional adults according to minimum safety ratios as outlined in Volunteer Essentials.

LIBERTY SCIENCE CENTER OVERNIGHT: MYSTERY AT THE MUSEUMSaturday, March 5 - Sunday, March 6 Saturday, March 19 - Sunday, March 20222 Jersey City Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07305 Cost: $57Explore every nook and cranny of the Liberty Science Center as you spend the night on a quest to solve a mystery. Use your sleuthing skills to search for clues, process evidence, and complete daring challenges that will lead to solving the Mystery at the Museum. Also visit LSC exhibits, see an IMAX and 3D movie, participate in live science demonstrations, and more. PLUS receive a patch that will allow girls to return to the LSC for free before Sept 2016!All female adults welcome. Minimum one adult for every five girls. HOW IT WORKS• Programs must be ordered at least three weeks in advance of requested date. • You must provide a venue for the program. GSHNJ Service Centers and camps are available for these programs—on a limited basis—free of charge. Program Specialists can provide availability information for Council properties.• A $50 refundable deposit is required to reserve free ON DEMAND programs. Your refund will be issued when minimum attendance is met or if you cancel your reservation at least one week in advance of your reservation date. • Any changes to reservations must be made at least one week prior by contacting the appropriate Program Specialist. All standard GSHNJ Program Policies are in effect for ON DEMAND programs.
