I live t paint and paint t live.Soaking up the greatoutdoors, brush in hand in front of my canvas, I lose

track of all time, and it is these moments I cherish moThough I've experienced many careers, Ive discoverethat painting is most naturally suited to my personali

As a child, I turned to nature for comfort, wonder, and grace. It is my hope my art will imbue thesecharacteristics. In my youth I loved to draw and feelquite blessed that I could once again enter the artworld as an adult, studying at Pratt Institute and TheWoodstock School of Art. However, I've assimilated

technique by attending workshops and through greateachers including Billy O'Donnell, Hillary Lambert, DBeard Dean, and Ben Fenske.Color and light are critical -- color creating the shapeand light bringing it to life. I enjoy recording what Isee since it is a way of letting someone gain entry intmy world. The Charleston area is fertile with so manybeautiful venues to paint, and I feel charmed to beliving here.
