Whitecroft Lighting offer a wide range of floodlighting solutions to meet the requirements of a variety of playing standards, from recreation to national competition level. (Class 3 to Class 1). These can be used in a range of applications, from schools and sports clubs to community facilities, leisure centres and swimming pools.

Choosing the right sourceWe offer a range of high quality LED or conventional source floodlights with dedicated brackets for column mounting between 4 and 15m. These ensure optimum coverage whilst minimising light pollution. Although operating hours are typically low for these applications, LED solutions can offer savings in running costs due to both low energy consumption and extended maintenance intervals. When higher light outputs are required, metal halide lamps currently offer greater performance, however LED technology is advancing and LED floodlights delivering 120,000 lumens will be available by the end of 2016.

Lighting DesignWe offer a range of standard lighting layouts, which can be tailored to suit any project requirement and achieve compliance with BSEN12193, LG04, Sport England or specific requirements of a relevant sporting association. Lighting quality is guaranteed with each solution offering excellent levels and uniformity of illuminance, as well as colour rendition and low glare. Light pollution is minimised by careful placement of lighting columns in accordance with ILP GN01:2011.

Swimming poolsThe IP66 protection offered by Selise Maxi, combined with its low maintenance requirements, make it the ideal solution for swimming pool applications. Selise Maxi can cope with high temperatures and moisture levels without degrading performance, and is protected against the aggressive nature of such a chemical-rich environment. The excellent glare control affords a comfortable lit environment for swimmers, spectators and safety attendants. Material contruction in compliance with EN 13451-1: 2001.
