In 2013, the AIBs - the international media excellence awards -will continue their tradition of celebrating creativity andrewarding success in factual programming on television, onradio and in transmedia.These awards - in their ninth year - provide a truly

international accolade. They offer both peer and external reviewof entries and are independent of any commercial influence. Thestandard of competition is high and the annual awards galaevening in London is a highly-anticipated, sell-out event. The AIBs are highly respected in the international media

industry, described as "intelligent", "inspirational" and "thoughtprovoking". This is reflected in the huge number of high qualityentries that are submitted by broadcasters and independentproduction houses in every continent. These companies recognise that winning an “AIB” is an

important accolade - so significant, in fact, that potentialwinners fly in to London especially for our annual Awardsevening. In 2012, for example, we had senior executives, editorsand journalists from Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, the

Philippines, Germany, Norway, France, the USA, India and manyother countries. The AIBs are an important competition in global media,

something that is also reflected in the number of seniorprogramme makers and industry figures who devote their effortsto juding the AIBs.The 2013 AIBs will be presented during a glittering awards

evening at LSO St Luke's in London on 6 November, a venue weare returning to by popular request. It's a fabulous and inspiringevening celebrating all aspects of international broadcasting infront of a global audience of media leaders.A major promotional drive will begin in April to ensure that

Champagne andconversationWelcome the guests at our glitteringawards night in London with thechampagne reception.As a sponsor, you will be able to brand

the drinks reception area with free-standing banner displays. We cansupplement these with video screens ifyou wish (at a nominal additional cost). You might want to provide give-aways

Cost £3,900The sponsorship fee includes the cost of the drinksserved during the Reception and provision of space forfree-standing banners. Two places at the Awardsdinner are included. Quarter-page advertisement in theawards entry book and two editions of The Channel areincluded in this package.

Inspiring musicall eveningThe stunning venue for the AIBs is LSOSt Luke’s, home of the London SymphonyOrchestra and a regular stage for BBCradio and TV concerts and live sessionsby artists like Tom Jones, Elton John andBryan Ferry. So our guests appreciate themusicians who perform live during thereception and the seated dinner. As the sponsor of the music, you will

Cost £3,500The sponsorship fee includes the cost of the AIB’sregular quartet - if you provide the musicians, the feewill reduce by £750. Two places at the Awards dinnerare included. Quarter-page advertisement in theawards entry book and two editions of The Channel areincluded in this package.

Celebrating creativestorytellingThe most highly-visible opportunity is as a sponsor of one ofthe awards categories. Celebrating the best in factual programme-making across

TV, radio and online, the AIBs reward the most compellingstory-telling and most creative production values. And as asponsor of one of the 17 categories, you will gain extensivebrand visibility before, during and after the 2013 AIBs thanks tothe large-scale promotional work we do and because of thefollow-up coverage in trade and consumer press globally.You’ll see your brand in all our promotional material. You’ll
