Parish Council ElectionsSaturday, September 28, 2019

We are seeking nominations for seven open seats on the Parish Council, which includes three alternates.

If you are interested in becoming more involved in the Parish, please submit your name – or nominate someone who you believe would make an excellent candidate.

Elections will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019. Members will serve a three-year term.

It is very important for everyone to be involved in the functions of the Parish. Please consider submitting your name or nominating a worthy candidate for this much needed and important leadership role. 

Please let your nominee know about the nomination before you submit it.

Nomination forms can be found in each pew. You can drop your nomination forms in the collection basket or at the Parish Office on or before September 7, 2019.

Safe Environment Awareness Session – Spanish

September 12, 2019, 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.We will offer a VIRTUS Safe Environment Awareness Session on Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Resource Room of the Administration Building. This session will be conducted in Spanish. While the class is in-person, registration is online only through the diocesan website. “But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, and the blind; And thou shalt be blessed, because they have not wherewith to make thee recompense...” Luke 14:13-14

We have a difficult time with the concept of giving without expecting something in return. Even when we give to charity we often want something in return – a raffle ticket, a dinner, a chance to play golf or our name in print. Yet, as Christian stewards, we need to remember that the true reward for our giving awaits us in heaven.
