Split/ trogir - HvAr – pAlmizAnA We will pick You up around 9:30 a.m and navigate ahead towards the city of Hvar, island of Hvar. The navigation is cca one hour.

The city of HvAr has a long and distinguished history as a center for trade and culture in the Adriatic. An independent commune within the Venetian Empire during the 13th to 18th centuries, it was an important naval base with a strong fortress above, encircling town walls and protected port. Cultural life thrived as prosperity grew, and Hvar is the site of one of the oldest surviving theatres in Europe, opened in 1612. The seven-century old walls still survive, as do many of the noble houses and public buildings from 15th - 17th centuries.

By the 19th century, the port of Hvar was no longer a military base, and The Hygienic Society of Hvar took the economy of the city and the island in a new direction. As one of the earliest "tourist boards" in Europe, it was founded in 1868 with the purpose of providing "good care for visitors". Today, the city has a variety of hotels, galleries, museums, and exhibitions, including the Arsenal, Loggia, the Croatian Institute, and the Hvar Heritage Museum with its art and archaeological collections.




We have planned a short visit of about half an hour to take some pictures in the center, have coffee, ice cream.

In Hvar You can enjoy Your free time for sightseeing, shoping, have a coffee, whatever You prefer.

After sightseeing the gorgeous city of Hvar, around noon we will take You to the Devil's islands situated on the southwest of the island Hvar, opossite the entrance of the city of Hvar. On Croatian named „Pakleni otoci“ are an archipelago of 7 larger islands and numerous smaller islands as well as rocks. The chain of islands is approximately 10 kilometres long, formed of limestone, with a very indented coastline and low pine forest with black pine, and aleppo pine. The highest point on the islands is 94 metres The islands are a popular destination for visitors with smaller craft, especially yachts, providing numerous peaceful coves for diving, underwater fishing, swimming and water sports




The main island or Sveti Klement is also called Veliki otok or Big island. It has 3 settlements, Palmizana, Momica Polje and Vlaka. We will take You to the most famous and beautiful of them, to Palmizana where You will enjoy the whole afteroon.

Tourism on pAlmižAnA was established in 1906 by Professor Eugen Meneghello on his 300-year-old estate. He imported exotic plants from all over the world and created the rare and magnificent botanical park.




Eugen's son, Giorgio Meneghello Toto, one of world's best grouper fishers, built the island's complex and his wife, Dagmar (née: Gebauer), has been managing Palmižana for over 30 years. Currently, Dagmar manages Palmižana with the help of her three children and her grandson.

The exquisite traditional cuisine in Palmizana is praised for its delicious specialities, based on fish, lobsters, scampi, shellfish and other seafood served with fresh vegetables from the island gardens. The cuisine has been declared one of the best in the Mediterranean by the German Magazine Boote, English Traveler and Croatian magazines. If You would like to taste the cuisine flavours, just let us know and we will reserve You a table in one of the best restaurants there.




Don’t forget that You can enjoy the sea not only swimming, we will insure You different water toys in order to enjoy variously water sports (water ski, bladefish, stand up board paddle). The only think You need to do is to announce us that You would like to do such activities.




After having a unforgetable morning and afternoon,you will enjoy the departure as well. Imagine Yourself, riding on waves while the weak sun beams are touching Your face and the wind playing with your hair.
