ARRIVAL OF PARTICIPANTS / GUESTS Upon arrival to the airport of Split, you will be welcomed by the

representatives of Dubrovnik Travel and local guides speaking your native language.

It is possible to have a luggage assistance staff who will take you

baggage right to the bus. It is also possible to have a welcome by two

or four girls dressed in a traditional costume who will offer you a

traditional Croatian gourmet chocolate Bajadera. It is also possible to

have a Dalmatian trio that will welcome you by traditional Dalmatian song.

Thanks to its small size, the airport of Split allows you to get to the bus

quickly. Split Airport is situated 25 km from Split and duration of transfer to the port of Split is cca 30 minutes by bus.

Hvar is a charming medieval town

unique in its cultural and historical

heritage. During this special city tour of

Hvar you can visit the famous cathedral

of St. Stephen that stands on the far end

of the main town square called Pjaca.

You can also visit the town “loggia” with

seven arcades constructed in 1497, and

see the slender bell tower finished in the

middle of the 16th century.

The city tour takes you past the ancient

Arsenal, once housing the war galley.

Under the same roof is the oldest

communal theatre in Europe, buit in

1612.

Take the promenade trough the old port

and you will arrive in front of the

Franciscan monastery (1462).

A visit to the Benedictine Monastery can

The Volkswagen Beetle, also known as the

Volkswagen Type 1, was an economy car produced

by the German auto maker Volkswagen (VW) from

1938 until 2003. In the 1950s, it was more comfortable

and powerful than most European small cars, having

been designed for sustained high speed on the

Autobahn, and ultimately became the longest-

running and most-produced automobile of a single

design.

The beetles will be parked 5 min away from the Old

City. The cars are capacity for 4 pax maximum, even

though we recommend 3 pax per car.

The agritourism Hora, located in the old Greek ager (field), is a perfect

place to experience autochthonous lifestyle that has been cherished on

this part of the island of Hvar for more than 2400 years.

The ranch disposes of a donkey farm, Mediterranean garden, old

Dalmatian stone house called trim, horse riding area and a collection of

authentic Dalmatian agricultural tools. Wine tasting on this ancient

location is held by professional sommeliers and a householder will

explain you the wine and olive production procedures and the manner

of processing grapes into large amphorae.

During the visit, clients can enjoy olive tasting, olive oil tasting and taste

local homemade products as well as traditional Dalmatian lunch.

HIKING ON HVAR, 5-35 pax

The island of Hvar has many gravel and hiking paths. Not

so long ago some of these old paths were the only

connection between the south and north part of the

island. Pathways lead us through the olive trees and

lavender fields, through vineyards, forests and inlets. A visit

to the old island villages, of which some are abandoned

(Malo Groblje, Humac...), will give you an insight into the

past and the old way of life on the island.

Hiking to the highest peak called St. Nicholas (626m), from

where you can see all islands of central Adriatic and the

mountains of hinterland, is also part of this tour.

Apart from the sightseeing of the inner part of the island,

we offer you a hiking tours along the coastal southern

part of the island.

We will sail in one of the best parts of the Adriatic,

sea and islands.

This tour is all about the sailing, the poetry of

movement as many would call it. It is not easy to

put a precise itinerary on this trip, because we

leave the choice to the nature, letting the

weather and winds guide us. This tour starts at 10

a.m in Hvar town, and after approx. 2 hours of

sailing we reach the Green Cave on one small

island off the coast of the island of Vis.

Our return to Hvar will start around 4 pm, where

we should arrive at 6 pm. One thing we can say

for sure: you will see beautiful places, beaches –

even a cave – and enjoy in the best local food

and company, hear about the interesting history

of our attractive islands Hvar and Vis, the

traditional way of living on those islands, and

much more… You will enjoy the music of the

winds, waves and warmth of the sun, and the

dance of dolphins passing by…

DISCOVER THE ISLANDS OF PAKLENI BY TRADITIONAL DALMATIAN BOAT

The Pakleni islands are located off the southwest coast of the island of

Hvar. The name is popularly translated as Hells' islands (pakleni: hellish),

but it originally derives from paklina, an archaic word that means tar

once used to coat ships. They are composed of 7 islands which can

be reached by speed boats or pasara boat – traditional fishing boat

used by Dalmatian fishermen

On the island of Palmizana several activities can be organized. We

suggest you snorkeling and picigin – an amateur sport played in

shallow water consisting of players keeping a small ball from touching

the water.

IMPORTANT : Please note that pasara boats are driven by clients. Before the departure, detailed explanations concerning

the safety and how to operate boats will be given to them by professionals.

The life jackets will be distributed upon starting of the activity in order to provide passengers’ safety.

SPEED BOAT RALLY ON PAKLENI ISLANDS, max 180 pax

Speed boat rally on the Pakleni islands is a combination of different activities. The group will be divided into teams.

Each team will get a fast boat and a skipper. They move as a result of the matrix and at each control point they are given a task.

The competition part consists of answering questions about geography, culture etc.

During the activity the will have an opportunity to enjoy sightseeing, wine tasting etc.

JEEP SAFARI ON THE ISLAND OF HVAR, 4-30 pax

Jeep safari along the island of consists of a ride in Land Rover Defender off-

road vehicles on the asphalted and gravel roads. The tour includes visits to

the old inhabited settlements and deserted villages in the inner part of the

island.

Lunch is usually organized in the abandoned village of Humac in a tavern

with the same name. The tour aslo takes us to the island's higest peak, St.

Nicholas (626m) from where you can see all islands of central Adriatic and

the mountains of hinterland.

On our way, we will pass through many lavender fields, olive plantations and

vineyards and see abandoned vineyards and miles of stone walls which are

several centuries old. Along with the ride and lunch, we can arrange a visit

to Grapčeva cave, which is just half an hour walk from the Humac tavern.
