Bell Mobility proposing new Cell Tower - Open House Sep 4, 6-8 pmBell Mobility has determined the need for new antennas in the area in order to adequately provide conCnuous coverage and addiConal capacity to their exisCng and future customer base in the area. Currently, their network is burdened by a combinaCon of poor voice and data quality in these areas due in large part to the high volume of users in the area. In some cases, the coverage is such that a handset would be unable to place a mobile call at all in the subject locaCon and surrounding area.
The proposed locaCon o f a n e w 4 0 m monopole tower is at the Sonoma Heights Community Park at 100 S u n s e t R i d g e i n Vaughan, Ontario. (on M a j o r M a c k e n z i e across from Padre Pio Church).
T h e p r o p o s e d f a c i l i t y w o u l d i n c l u d e o n e locked, alarmed and electronically m o n i t o r e d m e c h a n i c a l equipment shelter. Fencing would be installed around
the base of the tower and equipment shelter and would include one locked gate access point. The picture is a rendering of the proposed tower.
You are invited to provide comments to Bell Mobility about this proposal by mail, electronic mail or fax. In order to ensure your comments are considered you must respond by close of business September 18, 2014 to: Sean Galbraith, Bell Mobility Inc. c/o SJSB Network ConsulCng Inc., 1 Yonge Street, Suite 1801, Toronto, ON M5E 1W7 Email: [email protected] Please reference site code W4220
