About The Artist: Chris Whillock grew up in a “woodcarving” family and has beeninvolved in this wonderful art form for over 35 years. He has studied under his father, Ivan,a well-known artist, teacher, author and has had the privilege of being around many fantasticcarving influences. Chris works out of his Southern Minnesota studio and travels the coun-try teaching classes, attending shows and selling his art work. Chris is the current editor ofCarving Magazine, a National woodworking magazine.
