GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT

SPECIAL SUMMER COURSE IN SIA COURSE period: July 1-26

You can apply for course TILL the 31th of May 2019

Schedule: lessons of Japanese will be given from 9:10 till 12:40 in the morning and, depending on

kind of afternoon’s activity, may vary from 1 to 4 lessons.

All lessons, cultural events and excursions will take place on weekdays.

Main purpose of course: to introduce Japanese culture and to effectively develop conversational

skills of Japanese language.

Applicant’s minimum age: 16 years.

Japanese level of applicant: from beginner till advanced. This course is mainly oriented on students,

who wants not only to improve their Japanese language ability, but also to explore different sides of

Japanese culture. Also, our school provides intensive courses for students, who wants to learn

Japanese intensively. If you are interested in intensive courses of Japanese, do not hesitate to tell

us!

TUITION FEES AND ACCOMMODATIONS

TUIRION FEE: 120,000 JPY

ATTENTION! This year we have a discount for our courses -

35 %! This year you have a great opportunity to participate in

our course ONLY FOR 78,000 JPY! Also, you can get Japanese

summer kimono – yukata for free!

ACCOMMODATIONS:

Students can live in school’s dormitory, in two-person

rooms.

PRICE: 1,000 JPY / day

Our dormitories are situated near school, so it will take

less than 10 minutes by foot.

In dormitories there are all needed furniture and

household appliances. Free Wi-Fi connection is also

available.

NOTICE: Tuition fee includes tuition materials fee, participation in cultural events and

excursions, organized by school, traveling expenses during excursions.

It does not include accommodations, food expenses (and food expenses during all-day

tours), and any other excursions and events, out of events in SIA.

Nikko Edomura

Amusement Park

Nikko Edomura Village is an amusement park stylized

after Edo period settlement. Here, on precisely rebuilt

streets, between ancient houses and residencies you

can meet costumed samurai warriors and maiko

actresses. Also, you can enjoy a lot of other activities

inside of the park, such as Kabuki stage play, or

casting daggers, or Japanese traditional archery.

Trip to Chichibu

Nagatoro

Make a journey on boat down the stream, watching

beautiful landscapes of Nagatoro valley, and after that

learn the ancient craft of making of Japanese paper –

washi.

Excursion to Nikko They say, “Never say Kekko Until You’ve Seen

Nikko”, in which “kekko” means “to be satisfied”.

Festival Uchiwa Summer Festival Uchiwa is one of the biggest and

popular festivals on the north from Tokyo. It is

expected to pass 12 ancient mikoshi during festival

this summer.

Trip to Asakusa and

Ueno

Visit the oldest temple of Tokyo – Sensoji and have an

amusing walk through ancient streets of Tokyo, where

old and new ways make a bizarre kind of harmony.

Festival Ukishiro Summer Festival Ukishiro is a special event for our

school, because we participate in it for years together

with our students. Join us in summer dance on this

delighting event!

Beside such popular touristic spots, like Ueno, Asakusa, Nikko, we offer you to enjoy a trip to historical

village of Edo period, learn how to make incredibly tough Japanese paper – Washi, after having amusing

river boating among fascinating Japanese landscapes. Celebrate Tanabata in traditional Japanese way,

watch magnificent fireworks in yukata during hot Japanese festival nights, enjoy beauty of hundreds of
