Eric Cooley: Eric is Co-Director of Wis-consin’s Discovery Farms program, coor-dinating the program’s drainage tile and water quality research efforts. Cooley’s research focus includes how quickly drain tile responds to precipitation and snow-melt and how cropping systems, manure application and management impact tile water volume and quality.

Richard Cooke: Richard Cooke is a Professor and Drainage Extension Spe-cialist in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at the Univer-sity of Illinois. He teaches courses in Drainage and Water Management, Land and Water Management Systems, Drain-age Design and Layout, and Nonpoint Source Pollution Processes. Richard has developed computer software for analyz-ing yield maps from paired drainage sys-tems, drainage system design and layout, and the design of subsurface bioreactors. His current research focus is on the de-velopment and evaluation of drainage-related best management practices for improving water quality.
