We now live in a world where the barriers to entry

with business are low and people are seeking a

richness from their existence and satisfaction

from their day jobs. Kyla Kirkpatrick, is one of

those rare birds who made a decision early in life

to live a life of passion and follow her heart and

she has an incredible story to tell.

In 2005 Kyla gave away her career in finance after

reading a series of books on Champagne history.

She was drawn into the story of the region falling

in love with the enigmatic history of Champagne

including the story of Napoléon Bonaparte and

his friendship with Jean Remy Moët.

Kyla decided to write a letter to a gentlemen who

had written her favorite book on champagne and

to her surprise he wrote back to her inviting her

to France to study with him. Kyla turned her heel

on her career, left her long-term partner, gave

away her dog and bought a one way ticket to

Paris. It is here where her incredible new journey

began – a life of champagne, grand soirees, Saudi

Arabian princes and luxury travel.

Now known as The Champagne Dame, Kyla has

carved a BIG small business out of a niche industry

and is considered an expert in her field of bubbles.

Growing up in regional Australia far from the life

she now knows, Kyla’s headstrong determination

to fulfill her dreams and live of a life of passion and

purpose is resoundingly addictive. Kyla is now

considered one of top educators in Champagne

and has spent the past 10 years living her dream

life. She has an incredible business and is a gifted

speaker.

known as the Wine of Kings or why the bubbles

rise from the center of the glass? Kyla Kirkpatrick,

will take you and your guests on a fascinating

journey into the wonderful world of champagne.

This is not simply a masterclass where you will line

up a multitude of wonderful champagnes side by

side to understand the subtle nuances between

them, you will head back in time to discover the

birth of the bubbles in the days when Dom Pierre

Perignon was toiling away in the cellar abbeys,

you will venture into the vineyards to understand

the method in the winemakers madness and into

the dining room to understand etiquette.

Kyla weaves a wonderful and spell binding array

of stories into a colorful presentation including

tales of her own life living in Paris and Champagne.

A unique and wonderful entertaining experience

from 20 to 1000 guests.

Explore the revolution of Champagne through

the eyes and innovations of a handful of the

most influential women in Champagne’s 300

year history. An inspirational and heartwarming

presentation. To add to the drama of the event

all champagnes are served from Magnum! (Story

can be told as a keynote without champagne.)

The creation of champagne is more art than

science and is an incredibly difficult task, with

winemakers in the region spending many years

honing their craft. There are parallels that can be

drawn between the nose who creates perfume

the chef-de-caves who creates champagne.

A perfume and champagne masterclass is a

decadent sensory experience that explores the

power of scent, the link between champagne

and perfume and its creation whilst pairing 5

perfumes and 5 champagnes.

Breakfast with Bollinger is a three-course

breakfast (or brunch) partnered with the

majestic champagnes of Bollinger. During the

brunch The Champagne Dame will delve into

the history of the maison and tell the wonderful

stories of Madame Lily Bollinger. A very decadent

experience. Kyla will work with the venue chef to

develop the courses that will be perfectly paired

with Bollinger Special Cuvee, Bollinger Rosé and

La Grande Année Vintage.

Tired of the same circuit of MCs? Kyla shines on

stage and is a competent and charismatic MC

who adds sophistication, character and humor

to an event. She has been the star MC for the

G.H. Mumm Marquee of Melbourne Cup, The

Pommery Pegasus Marquee at The Caulfield

Cup, many a conference and special luncheon.

Kyla’s presentations are engaging and faultless.

A champagne tower will add theatre and glamour

to any dinner, soiree or celebration. A cascading

tower of Marie Antoinette inspired flutes which

will be filled from the top by the Dame to serve

to guests adding a beautiful spectacle. The

Tower can be accompanied by a speech and

performance of sabrage (taking the end of the

champagne bottle off with a sword.)
