Spapanel Wall Lining System is the cost effective and luxury alternative

Spapanel is constructed with a hardwood waterproof plywood core (EN314-2 CLASS 3 Exterior) bonded under controlled conditions with a high pressure decorative laminate to face, and a plain balancing laminate to rear.

Spapanel DOES NOT require visible profiles when joining two panels together side by side creating an aesthetically pleasing finish.

The Spapanel Wall Lining System if installed and used in accordance with our published guidelines will remove the need for fibre cement backing boards and full height waterproof membranes, making Spapanel a 3-in-1 solution.

Spapanel comes complete with a 15 year panel integrity and warranty.

Spapanel is manufactured with our precisely engineered Hydrolock edge detail to create an extremely tight and

traditional joint strips or “H-Joints”

Tested by BRANZ to 3000 wetting and drying cycles in a spray chamber to confirm the Hydrolock joint will remain water resistant for a minimum of 15 years if installed correctly.

The Spapanel base seal strip is a two part shower floor and bath sealing system comprising a PVC strip and a high performance silicone. The 'movement joint' expands and contracts to offer a stylish and reliable bottom seal to prevent bond breaking damage issues, thus helping to reduce any potential future remedial work.

Fix fibre cement panels to framework

Apply the first coating of waterproof membrane & leave for 12 hours

Brush on the second coat and leave for a further 12 hours

Begin applying the tile adhesive to the walls

Place tiles evenly onto the adhesive and wait for them to dry

Grout between tiles making sure to sponge off any excess

using a specialist high grab panel adhesive, and seal off with recommended sealant and finishing profiles

That’s it, the job is done, once dry the room is ready for use. Hard to believe, but it really is that simple.

Tiling: Tiling usually takes between 6 & 7 days with a typical area of 12m²

Spapanel: Installing Spapanel can take just 2 days with the same typical area of 12m²

Finished Edge DetailSpapanel Classic and Plus ranges can be finished with a laminated edge detail to give a solid appearance.

This is ideal for kitchen splashbacks or half wall height panels. There is an option for 1,2,3 or all 4 edges to be finished.

On average 12m² of tiling can take up to 7 days to complete.
