Summer greetings from the SSSP. Although the weather hasn’t made it seem very summerlike, the calendar says it is. So, our calendar is full of summerlike activities like a fishing trip and a boat cruise on Lake Minnetonka and a golf putting event on the practice green at Minnetonka Country Club across the street from the Center. The Shining Stars have a birthday party in July for everyone over 85 years of age. The “Day Trip” events go to away areas and explore the points of interest there. The recent one was to Lanesboro and soon will it will be St. Cloud. Remember, these events aren’t necessar-ily restricted to seniors or “old” people. Many of our fun and informative programs have benefit for people who still have dark hair! Pass the word around. Join the SSSP and invite friends to join you who aren’t members yet. It’s a great bargain and the more we have the more you get! Bob Newman
