Southern Crafted Millwork recognizes the importance of

Southern Crafted Millwork offers a complete line of

exterior shutters in both standard and custom

sizes. Our shutters are available in Cypress and

exterior grade high performance wood composite

Additional wood species are available upon request.

Southern Crafted Millwork’s louvered shutters are

assembled using traditional mortise and tenon joinery.

This application ensures greater stability and lasting

performance. Exterior shutters are available in louver,

raised panel, flat panel, board and batten and “V” groove.

Our state of the art millwork facility offers a limitless

combination of custom features not offered in the

millwork industry. In addition to our standard product

offering, we specialize in replicating original custom

shutter designs for historic accuracy.

Southern Crafted Millwork Wood

Shutters with variable boards &

options are available in wire brushed

Western Red Cedar and smooth finished

Cypress. It has been our experience that

these two wood species are naturally de-

cay resistant and offer excellent stability

when compared to other wood species.

In addition, we also offer this shutter in

an exterior grade composite.

Board and Batten shutters can vary in

board width and the number of vertical

boards specified.

Our standard Cypress wood offering

utilizes a 1¼” board for both the

horizontal and vertical members.

Shutters made with exterior grade

composite, utilize 1” material. Boards

are attached with stainless steel screws

from the back side of the verticle boards.

We recommend that Board and Batten

shutters over 42” in height be

constructed with 3 horizontal boards.

Decorative cutouts and carvings are

available to only your imagination.

Board and Batten shutters can be custom-

ized to meet your expectations. You can

select the number of boards or battens to a

special width, gaps, bevels and cutouts.

Exteria is a panel product that is

designed for exterior applications.

Exteria is a revolutionary treated

exterior MDF composite that is a

superior alternative to wood in

exterior paint grade applications.

This composite shutter is unpainted

and unprimed, ready to finish. Treated

with Zinc Borate for rot and termite

resistance, Exteria composite, unlike

wood, resists checking, splitting and

cracking and is backed by a five year

limited warranty.

Custom Cuts and ProductsGetting you exactly what you need is

a principal element of our business.

Your satisfaction is our main concern

at Southern Crafted Millwork. We

understand that dimensions vary by

project. Sometimes the post height is

a little taller than a standard 8x8 or a

column needs to be slightly short of 18

feet. Whatever the requirements, we

can make the modifications that suit

your needs.

Plan Types

Just like custom lengths can be

required to properly fit an opening, it is

sometimes necessary to make vertical

cuts. The scope of your project may call

for the use of half columns or posts as

pilasters or maybe you need a quarter

cut column for a room corner. We have

the ability to meet your specifications.

Split columns can add an element of

sophistication to even the

smallest spaces.

capabilities by introducing “Mud Room

Cubbies” or sometimes called “Settee

Benches”. These benches are designed

to hold gear that simply tells a story of

you and your families daily activities.

These units are constructed with 3/8”

beaded Radiata Pine plywood, medium

density fiberboard suitable for painting

and an applied Poplar coat hook board.

Various styles are available within our

product offering. Our benches combine

fashion and function in a unique way.

Southern Crafted Millwork is proud to offer VECTOR

ART 3D, which provides relief style clip-art for

computer controlled routing and engraving. Vector Art

can create dimensions in raised, dished or recessed

with a hand carved edge. We offer high quality imagery

that can be produced on wood, wood composite or PVC.

Vector Art 3D takes the cost and complexity out of

producing decorative carved parts through a software

program designed to produce exacting images on a CNC

It is our goal to provide quotes within

24 hours, but please allow up to 72

hours on more complex requests. Our

lead times are approximately 4 weeks,

once we have all the information

needed to complete a quote. We cannot

provide a quote without a specific image

to base the model on. For most work we

will need a reference image, sketch,

photo or CAD drawing. Additional image

examples can be found on website

WARRANTY DOCUMENT

Southern Crafted Millwork offers a one year warranty to the original purchaser, for only the original property where products were installed. This warrantee covers defects in material

workmanship providing that our millwork products were installed to our specifications. With regard to exterior product applications, the purchaser accepts responsibility

for finish application and subsequent performance of the finish coat.

In the event of a claim during the warranty period, Southern Crafted Millwork, at its sole option, will either repair or replace the warranted product or refund to the purchaser

a sum equal to the actual price paid for the product, less shipping and taxes if applicable.
