Community Groups Do you want more from your community?

Can you give more to your community? Well, I can help!

My name is Kim and I am a Development Worker based in Early Help and Prevention Services, Adult Social Care, Norfolk County

Council. My role is to work with members of the community to help

increase social opportunities for people living in South Norfolk. Social groups are vital for the health and wellbeing of our

communities.

If you have an idea of a group you would like to set up, but are

not sure where to begin, or are a small group who needs some help to expand, I can help you.

With my advice, guidance, financial signposting and continued support, we can make South Norfolk a better, friendlier and more

inclusive place to live.

Let’s work together to help those who may be lonely, or isolated

get back into the community!

Cadent gas The Priority Services Register (PSR) helps energy companies like us look after customers who have extra communication, access or safety needs. When your gas is off, we know it can be a really stressful time. It can be even more challenging for people who have extra communication, access or safety needs. The Priority Services Register ensures that in the event of a gas emergency, people in need can access the best possible service - because customers living in the most vulnerable situations in our society deserve our care. https://cadentgas.com/Emergencies-safety/Safeguarding/PSR-registering-myself Urgent transport requests Find your transport tool for Community Transport (check if you need to book in advance) https://maps.norfolk.gov.uk/findyourtransport/ If you need the transport for medical reasons check if you can get a refund for travel costs https://www.nhs.uk/using-the-nhs/help-with-health-costs/healthcare-travel-costs-scheme-htcs/
