Specialist Josef Vacula was born and raised in Třebíč, Czech Re-public, and emmigrated to the United States in 2000. He be-gan his Military career in Fort Lewis, Washington, with a continu-ing assignment with the Eighth Army Band in Seoul, South Korea. While assigned to the U.S. Army Europe Band and Chorus, Specialist Vac-ula performed with the Slovene Armed Forces Orchestra, as a piano solo-ist. Specialist Vacula completed his education in the former Soviet Union. He holds a Red Diploma for the Master of Fine Arts in Musical Perfor-mance from the International Music Academy of P.I. Tchaikovsky, Kiev.

Staff Sergeant Rommel Agatep began his clarinet studies at the age of 13 with his grandfather, well-respected clarinetist in his home the Philippines. Agatep went on to study under the acclaimed clari-net soloist, Hakan Rosengren, at California State University Full-erton. He studied in the clarinet studios of Yehuda Gilad and Don-ald T. Foster at University of Southern California School of Music. Originally from the Philippines, he immigrated to the United States in 1988. He is married to his wonderful wife Aira and has a son Im-manuel. In his free time he enjoys working on cars and running

Lieutenant Colonel Bruce R. Pulver currently serves as the Commander of the United States Army Europe Band & Chorus. He is a native of Melbourne, Florida and holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Master of Music Education degree from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.Lieutenant Colonel Pulver’s past assignments include: Deputy Commander, The United States Army Field Band, Washington, D.C.; Department of the Army Staff Bands Officer, Washington, D.C.; Executive Officer, United States Army Europe Band & Chorus, Heidelberg, Germany; Commander, United States Army School of Music; Executive Officer, Army Ground Forces Band, Fort McPherson, At-lanta, Georgia; 98th Army Band, Fort Rucker, Alabama; and the First Army Band, Fort Meade, Maryland. Prior to entering military service, he taught in the Missis-sippi public schools as a high school and middle school band and choral director.

Captain Aaron Morris serves as the Executive Officer for the United States Army Europe Band & Chorus, where he is also the Producer and Director of the Unit-ed States Army Europe Soldiers’ Chorus. A native of Finksburg, Maryland, Cap-tain Morris holds a Bachelor of Music Performance degree from the University of Maryland, where he studied with saxophonist Dale Underwood, and a Masters of Music Education degree from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.Captain Morris began his military career in 2005 as a saxophonist in the 257th Army National Guard Band, “The band of the Nation’s Capitol”. In 2007, he joined the Training and Doctrine Command Band at Ft. Monroe, Virginia. While at the TRADOC Band, he was selected as the first Army Bands Soldier of the Year. As a Saxophonist, he was a Semifinalist at the Fischoff National Chamber Music Com-petition, al Saxophone Symposium, and performed at the East Coast Jazz Festival.
